Rustic Barn Engagement from Deisy Photography

Lauren and Andrew had mutual friends for the longest time, but never seemed to cross paths. They were always invited to the same New Year’s Eve and football watch parties, but never at the same time or place. One weekend, Lauren was having a girls’ night out with friends when one of their husbands and Andrew decided to crash the party and join the fun. After that night, Lauren and Andrew made plans to grab a drink. The rest is history!

Lauren was always suspecting when the proposal would be. After a few false alarms, she accepted the fact that she was clueless about when it would actually happen. Andrew was determined to catch Lauren off guard and propose when she would least expect it. At 6 a.m. on December 2, Lauren’s birthday, Andrew proposed before they headed off to work. Lauren was truly shocked and quickly said yes! She had trouble focusing all day at work because she was so giddy, but when the day was over they celebrated with friends and family with a wonderful dinner.

Lauren and Andrew will be married this fall with a rustic romantic affair at Plenty Mercantile in Oklahoma City. Thank you to Deisy Photography for sharing their oh-so-sweet shoot with us, and congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Zirtzman!
