It's another exciting Wednesday Pinsday and in just a week's worth of time, we've pinned lots of wedding ideas to our Brides of Oklahoma Pinterest page!  If you haven't stopped by to check us out, we invite you to come on over!  We're pinning away every single day with one inspiring wedding idea after the next and best of all, we're keeping it local.  You'll find ideas and inspiration and see the Oklahoma wedding vendors you can call upon to make any idea you discover a reality!

Today, we're sharing one cool way to make a stylish entrance with the Old Urban Trolley.  This bride makes a statement as she steps off of this fun trolley with her beau dressed in her Nicole Miller wedding gown from J.J. Kelly Bridal and clutching a gorgeous yellow bouquet from The French Bouquet.  Photography by Josh McCullock Photography

Dreaming of saying "I Do", this dazzling diamond engagement ring with diamond pave band from Naifeh Fine Jewelry is so beautiful!

Invite in style!  We love this modern wedding invitation design tucked away in a gem-encrusted box full of delicate orchids as seen here from The Inviting Place.  Packaging concepted by Oklahoma wedding planner, Lasting Impressions of Tulsa.  Photography by James Walton Photo

And, these spring temps have us swooning over gorgeous garden weddings!  This aisle and backdrop of Dominion House is an oh-so-perfect setting for a springtime wedding soiree.  Photography by Tara Lokey Photography

Enjoy the inspiration and don't forget to follow us on Pinterest to stay in the loop!

Adorable Oklahoma Engagement Session- Kevin Paul Photography

Kevin Paul Engagement Session

We just had to share this adorable engagement shoot captured by Kevin Paul Photography! Cute Oklahoma couple Heather and Jeremy brought along their African Sulcata tortoise Sir Walter Raleigh to help them SHELL-ebrate their engagement! How adorable is his tiny top hat?! From the magenta crepe myrtle's to the bright orange wall and red photobooth, we love the use of bright colorful backgrounds to create a warm and cheerful backdrop for this sweet couple and their tortoise friend! Sir Walter Raleigh better start walking if he's going make it to the September wedding of Heather and Jeremy at Skelly Lodge! Cheers!

Vows that Wow No. 14- Micaela and Vinny

Vows that Wow No 14

We've never seen Gaillardia dressed in such a fashion! It's a grand and impressive venue without an ounce of décor but Oklahoma wedding planner, Lindsay Gibson of Gibson Events, really transformed the space into something magical with this beautiful Oklahoma wedding captured by Josh McCullock Photo and Films. You may recognize Micaela and Vinny who entered our Looks of Love contest this past February and got many of votes from fans and followers who fell in love with their adorable engagement pictures captured by Josh McCullock Photo and Films and oh-so-sweet love story. Their wedding was equally amazing and we couldn't wait to share a glimpse inside this gorgeous affair!

Micaela and Vinny planned a modern, eclectic and splendid Oklahoma wedding this past fall with the expertise of wedding visionary, Lindsay Gibson. From Micaela's dreamy Monique Lhuillier wedding gown, Christian Louboutin shoes and sparkling diamond engagement ring from Mitchell's Jewelry to the white lounge furniture from Mood Party Rentals used as ceremony seating on the lawn and impressive tabletops indoors for guests to dine dressed by Marianne's Rentals and topped with dramatic floral structures from Poppy Lane Design, to the dramatic draping and centerpiece lighting from Innovative Event Solutions,  we adore literally everything about this wedding and can't wait to show more it off in the magazine! Congrats to the happy couple and stay tuned for more!

To reserve your wedding or engagement announcement space in the next issue of Brides of Oklahoma magazine, be sure to request a wedding packet or engagement packet online and get the details. Cheers!

Location Inspiration:  A Historic Mansion Wedding

Location Inspiration Dresser Mansion

Dazzle wedding guests with a stately soiree at Dresser Mansion in Tulsa. This historic property was designed in the Italian Renaissance style in the early 1900's by the architect behind New York's first Waldorf Astoria.  Almost 100 years old, this historic mansion has retained its beauty and now serves as a spectacular venue for lavish parties of all kinds and beautiful Oklahoma weddings.  We especially love the indoor and outdoor party space that can accommodate up to 200 guests.  If you're opting for this amazing mansion for your wedding, we suggest wearing a timeless couture gown like this one by Mikaella and dressing your maids in Bill Levkoff gowns like this lilac long number. Find the Mikaella line locally at Moliere Bridal Salon and Bill Levkoff bridesmaid dresses at Moliere Bridal Salon, The Bridal Boutique or Facchianos Bridal Salon. Dress it up with these Kendra Scott jewels!  A reception at Dresser Mansion would look stunning with elegant tabletops topped with centerpieces with balls of fluffy hydrangea floral in a soft lilac palette like this stunning floral design from Mershon Catering and Event Design.  Add a touch of glam with this gorgeous tiered confection from Mishelle Handy Cakes. We especially love the cake stand made of solid Swarovski crystals!  And, don't forget to invite in style with an amazing packaged invitation suite like this one shown from Arabella Papers.  Find the Arabella Papers line locally at By Invitation Only or Paper N More.  For more information on this fabulous Oklahoma wedding and reception venue, be sure to check out their web site and schedule a time to view the property for yourself.  Happy wedding Wednesday!
