Vows that Wow No 14

We've never seen Gaillardia dressed in such a fashion! It's a grand and impressive venue without an ounce of décor but Oklahoma wedding planner, Lindsay Gibson of Gibson Events, really transformed the space into something magical with this beautiful Oklahoma wedding captured by Josh McCullock Photo and Films. You may recognize Micaela and Vinny who entered our Looks of Love contest this past February and got many of votes from fans and followers who fell in love with their adorable engagement pictures captured by Josh McCullock Photo and Films and oh-so-sweet love story. Their wedding was equally amazing and we couldn't wait to share a glimpse inside this gorgeous affair! 

Micaela and Vinny planned a modern, eclectic and splendid Oklahoma wedding this past fall with the expertise of wedding visionary, Lindsay Gibson. From Micaela's dreamy Monique Lhuillier wedding gown, Christian Louboutin shoes and sparkling diamond engagement ring from Mitchell's Jewelry to the white lounge furniture from Mood Party Rentals used as ceremony seating on the lawn and impressive tabletops indoors for guests to dine dressed by Marianne's Rentals and topped with dramatic floral structures from Poppy Lane Design, to the dramatic draping and centerpiece lighting from Innovative Event Solutions,  we adore literally everything about this wedding and can't wait to show more it off in the magazine! Have a look at this gorgeous Oklahoma wedding captured by Amanda Watson Photography that was selected by our team as part of our Vows that Wow project – exclusive coverage of select weddings that will grace the pages of the next issue of Brides of Oklahoma magazine. It's just a little preview to hold you over until the full wedding and story are revealed! Say hello to Elizabeth and Ross who wed just a few weeks back in Tulsa. The bride looked absolutely stunning in a custom couture wedding gown designed by Abelina's Boutique. We adore her sheer, tulle shoulder wrap! So pretty! All of the stunning floral were designed by The French Bouquet and this cascading orchid bouquet is simply exquisite! So many cool details were planned by the bride and her family to make this Oklahoma wedding an unforgettable one. One of our favorite details was the S'mores roasting for guests that happening later in the evening after a fabulous dinner! Each month, we look forward to sharing one couple who is featured in our Bridal Buzz eNewsletter on the brink of tying the knot!  It's so much fun to share engagement photos and the story behind each and every couple.  This month is no exception — we just love these sweet photos captured by Candi Coffman Photography! Check out Linsy and Jason's cute story below!

When Linsy and Jason were each other’s dates to their eighth grade dance, neither of them could have guessed that they would one day be saying “I do”.

After years of happily dating, the couple decided to take a trip to Breckenridge, Colorado. It was while the couple was out enjoying the slopes, that Jason got down on one knee and asked Linsy to marry him. Later that night, Jason surprised Linsy with a horse-drawn carriage ride through the town and a romantic dinner. He even arranged for their family members to be in town to celebrate the occasion with them! 

The couple is currently planning their dream destination wedding in the Dominican Republic. Congratulations Linsy and Jason!
