Karisa and Blane met at a party, and Blane was instantly smitten! After toying with the idea of dating, they realized the timing was wrong and ended up going their separate ways. However, Blane realized that Karisa was the one that got away and began trying to get her back. Karisa resisted at first, but after she realized he was really serious she finally gave in and the rest is history!

As their second anniversary was approaching Karisa had a feeling a proposal might be in the works! Before their anniversary date they stopped by The Skirvin Hilton hotel where Blane had set up beautiful flowers, Karisa’s favorite cupcakes and her favorite drink. Blane took a note off the cupcakes and told her to open the box. As she opened the box, he actually left the room. Karisa tried to open the box very slowly, thinking the ring was in the cupcakes, but when she opened them it was not! However, she turned around and there was Blane on one knee! Such a sweet surprise!
