It may seem like a no-brainer, but Lauren and Peter’s Valentine’s Day wedding was so full of all things romance and love and we can’t get enough! A passion-filled palette of ruby red with pops of fuchsia carries over beautifully in floral centerpieces and installations by The Fleuriste all around the venue, as well as in bridesmaids’ bouquets. Darling detail shots show off some of the couple’s favorite things, including their rings with the groom’s ring and the bride’s fine jewelry both from BC Clark Jewelers. Lauren and Peter also created a wedding registry there before the big day – The BC Clark Jewelers Life:Style Department is out of this world. Also seen is an invitation suite of pale pink from Paper + More adorned with gold scripted details invited guests in style and this party started their wedding weekend off with accommodations at The Skirvin Hilton, where they could stay in luxury while remaining in close distance with both their ceremony and wedding venues. Chic and sleek is the answer for décor from Mood Party Rentals in all-black design, which draws even more attention to Lauren and Peter’s gorgeous florals as well as a towering, six-tiered rose-covered wedding cake designed by Amy Cakes that looks way too pretty to eat, but we know it tasted just as good as it looked. There wasn’t a dull moment all night with entertainment like Box Talent Agency‘s HOOK on the scene, and it’s easy to see how guests hardly spent a moment away from the dance floor! Read on for a note from the bride about one of her favorite Valentine’s Day wedding memories and what made the day so special. Cheers to the Shadids!
From the bride: “It was a dream come true! Love was in the air, laughter filled the rooms and joy overflowed from everyone around us. Love is a beautiful thing and being able to celebrate love with everyone we love on the day of love (Valentine’s Day) was an even more beautiful thing.”
Bright and vibrant colors are in no short supply throughout this intimate cottage core brunch inspiration planned and designed by Fête at The Bradford House. The adorable boutique hotel setting provides a unique, whimsical backdrop for the affair, complete with colorful décor around every corner and full shelves out of a book lover’s wildest dreams. This bride models with her best girls, starting the wedding day off with a stylish indoor café-style brunch before it’s time to walk down the aisle. She looks like a painting in her bridal gown fit for royalty, and we love the way her low updo was styled by Brushed Salon and Makeup Studio with an elegant headpiece that goes perfectly. The couple exchanges rings – only the finest from BC Clark Jewelers – before they head out to the patio for some al fresco reception dining with guests. Timeless King Louis chairs from Marianne’s Rentals make for stately, spring tablescapes of ornate china, gold flatware and chartreuse linens. Florals galore in pale, punch-tones from XO by Haleigh Kenney bring all the romance and then some to centerpieces, the ceremony altar and all around this vibrant modern cottage core brunch. Katie Hadley Photography captured stunning photos throughout the affair showing off the genuine love these two have for each other. Booking a venue that serves more than one function is absolutely the way to go, and this wedding party enjoyed accommodations at The Mayo as well as the bridal luncheon and catering for the wedding reception held in their grand ballroom. Bride Allison looks absolutely radiant in an off-the-shoulder gown from Ellis Bridal featuring a romantic Bardot neckline and lovely trimmed hip-length veil. We love their choice of trendy neon signage that reads “Feed Me Tacos and Fun, food and photos filled this white wedding to the brim with romance and the pair finally ended the night with a couple’s dance to Box Talent – Squad Live and the jams they kept coming throughout the evening. From the bride: “Our favorite wedding day memory is our ceremony. I had asked my former bible study leader, Cindy Western, to officiate our wedding. She is an amazing person with a heart of gold. It was so beautifully written that I had couples reaching out to me saying that it was exactly what they needed to hear. I asked Cindy to email us our ceremony so we could print it. We will cherish it forever!”
