An Eclectic Bohemian Chic Wedding with Citrusy Blooms

Monday, December 20th, 2021

If you’re obsessed with bohemian chic weddings, you’re going to want to stick around! Riley and Mason, the cutest high school sweethearts, joined hands and hearts in a romantic ceremony at The Baumberhof. Keep reading to see all of the incredible details from this bohemian chic wedding.

The Skirvin Hilton Hotel accommodated Riley and Mason’s guests over the wedding weekend. Filled with elegance and romance, it set the tone perfectly for the weekend ahead. The day of their wedding, Riley and Mason got ready in their separate suites. While the boys helped prepare Mason to stand at the altar, Riley was getting help from Brushed Salon and Makeup Studio. When they finished, she had a natural and beautiful bridal beauty look. After putting on her finishing touches – jewelry  from BC Clark Jewelers and a flowing veil– she was ready to walk down the vintage rug-lined aisle at The Baumberhof. Tony Foss Flowers wowed the couple and their guests with citrus-hued florals and greenery strung across their altar – it was the perfect place to trade vows underneath.

After portraits, it was time to eat! Their catering and dessert bar from Harris Custom Catering could not have been a bigger hit. And their reception details were the epitome of a bohemian chic wedding! Eclectic seating, rattan furniture, mismatched glassware and pampas grass were all on full display. Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Ross!

Here’s what the bride had to say about her wedding day: “My wedding day was an absolute dream and fairytale! The way the moments pass and the feelings you get is something different on your wedding day. Being surrounded by so much love and support from my family and friends who were there to celebrate me and my soon-to-be husband gave me so much overwhelming happiness. Every aspect of our day turned out to be better than I could have ever imagined. I wouldn’t have changed one thing about my wedding day!”

A Farmhouse Wedding So Romantic You’ll Wish You Were There

Wednesday, December 15th, 2021

Today we’re bringing you Sidney and Aaron’s farmhouse wedding, and it’s absolutely stunning. After meeting in college and getting engaged at The Center of the Universe (how cool is that?!), the two became Mr. and Mrs. in the fall.

Their big day took place at The Legacy at MK Ranch, and we can see why they chose this venue! Their many windows brought an airy and dreamy feeling to this beautiful farmhouse wedding. After getting ready in their bridal suite, Sidney was ready to walk down the aisle. She was an absolute vision in her wedding gown from Chantilly Couture. Form-fitting with a longer train, we absolutely can’t get over how stunning she looked when she walked down the aisle to her forever. When the ceremony ended, it was time to head to the reception! When Sidney and Aaron started planning their wedding, they knew they wanted their decor and rentals to feel romantic, and rentals from Party Pro Rents brought that romantic feeling to life at their reception. We’re obsessed with how dreamy this farmhouse wedding is – keep scrolling to see all the beautiful pictures! Cheers!

If Sidney had to pick a favorite memory, it would be this: “My favorite memory was when my husband’s cousins sang our walk down the aisle song, it brought me to tears. Planning a wedding in the middle of COVID-19 was very scary and nerve-wracking, but walking down the aisle in that moment and seeing my groom looking back at me made everything worth it.”

A Dark and Moody Halloween Wedding Inspiration Shoot

Friday, October 29th, 2021

Our favorite spooky holiday is just around the corner, and this dark and moody Halloween wedding inspiration shoot planned by Amy Ray Events will have you ready to don cat ears and witches hats (or maybe just inspire a seasonal event of your own)! Transforming a bright place like the OKC Civic Center Special Event, is no easy task, but with the collaboration of wonderful vendors, the team pulled this off perfectly!

We all know that wedding invitations set the entire tone, and this gothic invitation suite by Chirps and Cheers made our jaws drop! With such a unique and beautiful ring from Naifeh Fine Jewelry, we knew this shoot would just keep getting better and better. And the dress from Chantilly….we’re speechless! The lace detailing on the sleeves is out of this world – we can’t imagine a better dress for our Halloween brides. Of course, we can’t forget about the gorgeous tablescape that was made possible with decor and rentals from Marianne’s Rentals. The table, the chairs and even the cake by Allie’s Baking Boutique could not have been any better!

We told you this dark and moody Halloween wedding shoot would keep getting better, and it did. Without question, if there’s one thing Forever Borrowed can do, it’s use florals to soften the darkness and bring just the right amount of brightness into this shoot. Using orange, deep reds and even a bit of white, these florals were perfect for the outside altar. Standing under the altar is our beautiful bride and her girl gang. We’re obsessed with how Hayley Hall Hair switched between bubble ponytails, buns and curls between the group!

The best part of this Halloween wedding inspiration shoot is how Pulley Productions captured this entire day and created SUCH an amazing video – watch here! All of these vendors came together and have effortlessly combined classy styling among the dark and moody theme without it feeling heavy or overdone. Scroll to see more of this festive shoot – and Happy Halloween!

You’ve Got To See This Modern Take On A Winter Wedding

Wednesday, October 27th, 2021

Put this on the list of 10 reasons why we love a good winter wedding! Carrie and Brent Townsdin tied the knot on December 5th, and now we’re wishing for the colder months to come in. After connecting online, the two found love in their common interest – dogs! They took their dogs for a walk in the park, and the rest is history! The night before their big day, Carrie and Brent’s families were accommodated at the Renaissance Waterford in Oklahoma, where they all got ready for their rehearsal dinner. Catered by Abbey Road Catering, the couple enjoyed their last night together before they were officially husband and wife.

Getting ready for her big day, Carrie started the morning of getting her makeup done by Carolyn F. Beauty, and she looked absolutely stunning before she walked down the aisle. The couple exchanged rings from BC Clark Jewelers, and they couldn’t have been more perfectly matched to the pair. After their ceremony, the family gathered at the Renaissance Waterford in Oklahoma City for the reception, and they were absolutely stunned by how beautiful it looked. This was a night that no one wanted to end, but even the best nights have to end at some point! The guests didn’t leave empty handed though because favors provided by Paper + More left them feeling like the party came home with them! Meg Rose Photography was there to capture all of the modern elegance that this wedding brought to the table, and we’re obsessed. You can truly feel the happiness throughout this whole day – cheers to the newlyweds!

What was their favorite memory of their wedding? A surprise guest from their alma mater! Our bride says, “My favorite memory was when Pistol Pete came in as a surprise for my husband! He was so excited and had no idea. We loved having Pete start our reception off!”

It’s Getting Cold Outside But This Sweet Snowy Wedding Will Warm You Up!

Monday, September 27th, 2021

The weather outside is getting colder, which means it’s time for sweet snowy weddings! On the morning of their wedding Blythe and Emmanuel woke up to snowflakes falling on the ground, and it continued throughout their entire day. We all know in Oklahoma, winter one day can be snow and the next sunny and 75, so they just went with it – and it turned out to be the perfect day!

With their modern, classy and partially boho wedding theme, they knew that The Springs Venue in Edmond would be the perfect place to host their wedding. As always, get ready was a party! After hair and makeup, Blythe slipped on her dress from Chantilly Couture, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. After opting out of doing a first look, she walked down the aisle and saw two things. The first was Emmnauel looking at her, trying not to bawl his eyes out (we’re not crying, you are!). The second was how stunning the decor looked! Put together by Party Perfect Event Rentals, they created the altar of her dreams!

The snow couldn’t stop them from partying! At their reception, they were greeted with more stunning decor from Party Perfect Event Rentals. We know each wedding is different, and they each incorporate different cultures. Emmanuel’s family is from Nigeria, and they honored that by serving Nigerian food during their reception and it was the biggest hit! Scroll to see more of their sweet snowy wedding, cheers!

From our bride on her favorite part of the day: “My favorite wedding day memory was walking down the aisle to my husband! So many people do first looks now, and I was one of those brides who thought she wanted to… but that moment of seeing your groom for the first time at the end of the altar waiting for his bride was a moment that I will remember forever. And Emmanuel, who is not one to cry in public, holding back tears as he watches his bride walk down the aisle in her dress. All the sappy, giddy, dream feelings.”

This Modern Christmas Wedding Will Have You Wishing For Winter

Friday, September 17th, 2021

While most of us are excited for fall, Charlee and Alec Barker’s modern Christmas wedding is sure to have you wishing for the cold weather! This love story started with Charlee following her now husband on Instagram because she thought he was cute. After a couple of years, Alec reached out to Charlee, and the rest was history. Every year on their first date this sweet couple celebrates their “first dateiversary,” and on the fourth year, Alec proposed at the ice skating rink where it all began. Don’t mind us, we’re just wiping our tears after that cute proposal story!

After their proposal, this sweet couple decided to continue their tradition and marry in the winter at The Grand Canadian Theater, and we are absolutely smitten. With the look of an old movie theater with a Hollywood glam feel, this venue fit the modern Christmas theme perfectly! After looking at the beautiful decor, this sweet bride got ready with her family and friends by having dance parties and makeovers. Her dress from Bella Rose Edmond was carefully slipped into and complemented the special ring, that was her late grandmother’s, perfectly! And we can’t not talk about how dapper the groom looked in his suit from The Wardrobe Modern Menswear! And as perfect as the bride and groom are, we could not be more stunned by these pictures taken by Susan Alyse Photography. From the smallest of details to their pictures of the newlywed couple, this photographer didn’t miss a beat! Keep scrolling to see why we’re wishing winter would come sooner!

As their wedding night came to an end, here’s what Charlee said was her favorite part of the day: “Seeing how happy our closest friends and family were. Everyone was laughing, smiling and dancing. It made me thankful we could be together and enjoy each other’s time.”

An Intimate Ceremony That Celebrates Love and Family

Thursday, September 9th, 2021

An intimate ceremony surrounded by family – nothing could have been better for Hannah and John on their wedding day! Devastated by having to replan their big day due to COVID, this sweet couple turned it into the best possible day surrounded by the people they love the most.

The day started off in downtown Tulsa getting ready with their family. After everyone headed to The Canopy a minimalist and intimate venue of everyones dreams – the day began. Escorted by her father, Hannah turned heads when she walked down the aisle in a dress from Chantilly Couture! This intimate ceremony included a lot of family members throughout the wedding, including the officiant, the pianist and a small reading by the bride’s sister!

While the venue has beautiful palms and greenery inside, Scavenged Vintage Rentals created a gorgeous lounge for family members to use before and after the ceremony. Using a couch, wooden chairs and more, this decor will make you want to add it to your own wedding! Our hearts grew four times bigger thinking about how this intimate ceremony was captured perfectly by Caroline Eliza Co.! Keep scrolling to see all of the details from Hannah and John’s intimate day – cheers!

From the bride on one thing she learned: “We learned that just because we were having a small wedding does not make it any less significant. Due to COVID our plans changed several times but the most important thing was having each other and our families there together on our special day.”

A Bohemian Wedding Full of Dreamy Inspiration And Love

Thursday, September 2nd, 2021

Heather and Whit Hail were able to celebrate their wedding with a bohemian wedding full of dreamy inspiration and lots of love after pushing it back due to COVID at Dream Point Ranch, and we are HERE FOR IT! Their love story began back in high school, when they became the best of friends but never pursued each other. Fast forward to the summer of 2018…they reconnected, and their new chapter began – as boyfriend and girlfriend this time! With an engagement on the beach in 2019 and an original wedding date of April 2020, they trusted the process – and it sure was worth the wait!

This couple said their vows underneath the most stunning altar by Party Pro Rents, but it doesn’t stop there. Their sweetheart table with an amazing floral installation from Robyn’s Flower Garden blew the couple away and reminded them of a photo right out of a magazine. With a color palette of merlot and nudes, the blush details added to their reception tables, florals and more, tied their whole color scheme together. With surprises from grand entrances to videos from family members overseas, we can’t get enough of this wedding.

Be still our bohemian hearts! Keep scrolling to see all the gorgeous pictures from their wedding – we guarantee you’ll find lots of dreamy inspiration and love!

From the bride on her favorite memory: “[Our favorite wedding memory was] listening to the toasts and speeches of friends and family while soaking everything in, and also having a moment with my new husband right before we did our grand exit. The venue was empty, and it was just us to soak the whole day in one last time.”
