Coastal-Inspired Rehearsal Dinner at Aspen Ranch

Monday, October 10th, 2022

Amanda and Gabriel brought the sea breeze to the Oklahoma plains with their coastal-inspired rehearsal dinner at Aspen Ranch. On a rare 60-degree February evening, Aspen Ranch’s 160 serene acres provided the perfect backdrop for a romantic dinner. Inspired by the couple’s love for the coast, Blue Chalk Events weaved components of luxe coastal beauty into the entire design. The use of natural Chiavari chairs, jute slate blue napkins, woven rattan napkin holders, and patterned linens, all from Mood Party Rentals, provided the elements for a coastal chic rehearsal dinner! In addition, the coastal-inspired details continued within the invitation suites from Chirps & Cheers by using cotton paper and incorporating a vellum overlay with a Coastal pattern and tassel. Finally, a chic coastal soiree is not complete without coastal-inspired fashion! The darling bride, Amanda, opted out of a traditional white dress and instead radiated coastal bridal chic with a blue linen dress and bridal braid from Hayley Hall Hair. Don’t miss more coastal-inspired details below captured by the talented Kelsey LaNae Photography

Preppy Garden Party Wedding Inspiration

Monday, October 3rd, 2022

Oh, how we’ve fallen so in love with all the preppy garden party details inside this styled shoot designed by Harper Mae Events. One of the most sought-after wedding themes at the moment is incorporating preppy wedding details into your big day! If you’re looking for ways to add a bit of prep on the day you say “I do,” you came to the right place. Preppy weddings are all about pastel color combos and attention to detail. From beginning to end, every detail within this preppy garden party-styled shoot provided a sense of regality fit for a sophisticated bride. The garden soiree included a tablescape that we fell head over heels in love with. The tablescape included luscious pastel blooms from Robyn’s Flower Garden that lined the center, which paired beautifully with the gold scalloped dinnerware from Party Pro Rents. In addition, Paper + More created the most beautiful menus with butterfly detailing and a gold tassel that added an extra pop of prep to the dinner table. Finally, a live wedding painter is a must-have at every sophisticated preppy garden wedding. Courtney Kibby Designs painted a live rendition of the styled shoot, which beautifully portrays the day and adds a special keepsake. Kayla Reed & Peter Agnitsch

Friday, September 2nd, 2022

Kayla and Peter left no detail untouched when planning their classic and glamorous wedding at Coles Garden Wedding and Event Center. The adorable two met at UCO in their media class, where it took the couple two semesters to admit their feeling for one another finally. However, once they did, Kayla and Peter became inseparable and started to plan the rest of their lives together. Peter proposed with a surprised dinner at Vast. When the couple arrived at the restaurant, the hostess took them to a room where rose petals lined the floor and balloons spelled out, “marry me?” Kayla said it was “the easiest and biggest YES!” Still, on Cloud 9, Kayla and Peter began to plan all the details of their fairytale wedding.

We are still blushing over the details of Kayla and Peter’s gorgeous wedding! Kayla began her big day by getting ready with her bridesmaids in the bridal suite at Coles Garden. Every so often, Kayla peeked out the window to see her vision coming to life right before her eyes. Kayla decided to reveal her bridal look to Peter when she walked down the aisle. Of course, Peter was overcome with emotion as he watched his blissful bride walk toward him. Under a gorgeous arch completed with blush blooms from Tony Foss Flowers, the couple read their personal vows in front of all the people they love and cherish the most. After saying “I do,” Kayla and Peter enjoyed a private dinner from Harris Custom Catering before entering the reception. The couple danced the night away with guests and topped it all off with a sweet treat from Amy Cakes to end the night.

Keep scrolling to see more lovely and gorgeous details below and a special note from the bride!

Kayla and Peter’s Favorite Wedding Memory:

From the bride, “My favorite wedding day memory was doing our grand entrance into the reception. We were married, on cloud 9 and ready to have the best night with everyone we love. It was such an exciting feeling and I think about that memory every day.”

Allie Morain & Chase Scott

Tuesday, August 30th, 2022

Allie and Chase’s backyard wedding has stolen our Oklahoma hearts with a combination of vintage details and bohemian flares. Allie always dreamed of marrying her forever person in the house she grew up in, which sits on 200 acres in Newcastle, Oklahoma. It just so happened that her forever person ended up being a boy she’d known since she was a little girl. That boy was Chase, Allie’s brother’s best friend growing up. The two had always known each other, but it wasn’t until college that Allie and Chase developed feeling for one another. After deciding to live forever together, Chase proposed in the backyard of the house they were building together. Chase’s three-year-old son appeared behind a tree with a sign that read, “will you marry my daddy?” Chandler Rae Photography captured this intimate “yes” moment and went on to capture their “I do” moment months later.

No detail went unnoticed in Allie and Chase’s big day. From the gorgeous invitation suite from Occasions to a jean jacket labeled Mrs. Scott, every detail was executed exceptionally well. Before the big day, Allie collected over 300 antique chairs for the ceremony as well as tables for the reception. In addition, Borrowed & Bleu Co. added the perfect vintage rentals that complimented the antique chairs and tables. Allie and Chase dealt with unpredictable Oklahoma weather the day of their wedding. A rain storm hit right before the couple’s first look, soaking all the decor outside. However, once the weather cleared, a beautiful rainbow filled the sky. This brought a sense of calmness and a reminder of the journey they were about to begin. The couple celebrated the beginning of their new lives together by dancing under the stars and a sweet slice from Amy Cakes – it doesn’t get much better than that!

If you don’t want Allie and Chase’s wedding to end, keep scrolling to see the galley Chandler Rae Photography captured below. Cheers!

Allie and Chase’s Dream Wedding Maker:

Chandler Rae Photography helped keep me calm all day. She assured me the weather would pass and we will still have the wedding I had dreamed of! She made sure she stayed on time with my amazing planners and kept the day as smooth as possible! Chandler also captured every detail, allowing me to have photos I can cherish the rest of my life!”

Sarah Zupancic & Mark Antonio

Friday, August 26th, 2022

Sarah and Mark said, “I do,” with a classic and romantic Tulsa Wedding filled with emerald green hues and gold accents. The adorable couple met back in 2017 after Sarah graduated from Ohio University and moved to Oklahoma City for work. Not looking to date anyone, Sarah was quickly swept off her feet after meeting Mark through her roommate. Mark began planning their proposal a year and a half in advance to ensure Sarah’s family and friends from out of town could be there. While Sarah’s parents were in town one weekend, Mark popped the question at the Gathering Place with a beautiful ring from BC Clark Jewelers. Through happy tears, Sarah said “yes,” and cheering erupted across the street. Sarah looked up to see her best friend of 20 years cheering and running towards them, followed by all of the couple’s closest family and friends!

On a beautiful fall day in October, Sarah got ready with her best gals at The Mayo Hotel in preparation for the big day. Once all glammed up, the bridal party arrived at Dresser Mansion. Sarah slipped into her gorgeous lace detailed gown for her first look with Mark. Sarah said, “as soon as Mark turned around and we saw each other for the first time, we could breathe better. We each felt our nerves dissipate and felt like we could take on the rest of the day together.”

After the first look, Sarah and Mark shared their handwritten vows with each other and their guests during their outdoor ceremony. Following the ceremony, the couple was ready to celebrate with guests! Their classic and romantic reception included emerald green decor and rentals from Party Pro Rents and a delicious dinner of tex-mex food from Just Catering by Orr. In addition, Just Catering by Orr made all of Mark’s dreams come true with a tower of chicken tenders and toast from Raising Canes, topped with a Cane’s Sauce fountain for their late-night snack. Sarah and Mark spent the rest of the night enjoying the company of their guests who flew from around the country to celebrate them in Oklahoma!

Sarah and Mark’s Dream Wedding Maker:

“Josie with Just Catering by Orr was absolutely incredible. She and her team do not have a limit to their abilities and will do anything in their power to perfect their client’s experience. Josie was so helpful, not only with the food, but also with décor and overall planning of our day. We adore her and her team, and are so grateful to have had them as part of our special day!”

Malyn Saunders & Michael Daniels

Thursday, August 25th, 2022

Take a scroll through Malyn and Michael’s wedding and discover beautiful earth tones, chic decor, and a fairytale forest ceremony. Malyn met her beau through a mutual friend who set the two up on a blind date. Despite not knowing anything about one another, the two immediately hit things off and talked for hours. Little did the two know that this blind date would eventually lead them to find their forever person! Michael pulled off a dream proposal by coordinating with one of Malyn’s employees to set up headshots. When Malyn arrived at the photographer’s chosen location for headshots, she found Michael waiting for her with a romantic picnic. Michael read a sweet letter to his future bride-to-be and then got down on one knee. Of course, Malyn said “YES” to the love of her life, and the two began planning their fairytale wedding.

On an August evening, Malyn and Michael said, “I do,” with an outdoor ceremony that felt as if you entered inside a fairytale book. The luscious greenery of the forest backdrop made for a truly magical affair. Mayln and Michael created a very intentional guest list completed with only their closest family and friends. The smaller guest count allowed for the couple to have an intimate dinner and the ability to talk and dance with everyone. Their beautiful reception space included chic decor and rentals from Party Pro Rents and gorgeous blooming florals. In addition, Sweet Devotion Cakery sweetened the room with a bridal cake and dessert bar. The couple danced the night away with guests before getting some shut-eye at the Dominion House in anticipation of their mini-moon in Oklahoma City at the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel.

Malyn and Michael’s Favorite Wedding Details:

“We incorporated several African traditions with Michael and the groomsmen wearing Dashikis and also jumping the broom during the ceremony. It was important to include these traditions, especially since interracial marriages have only been legal for 54 years. We are proud to represent two cultures becoming one!”

Arianna Pugliese & Stephen Menzel

Thursday, August 25th, 2022

Arianna and Stephen’s bohemian chic wedding at Coles Garden Wedding and Event Center is making all of our terracotta dreams come true! The couple met online, and their connection was undeniable after the first date. Stephen got down on one knee with an electrifying proposal. Arianna said, “In August 2019, we got engaged on our favorite beach surrounded by a tropical storm, but right above us were clear skies. As he placed the ring on my finger, lightning struck (literally)!” After getting engaged, the pandemic hit, forcing Arianna and Stephen to postpone their original wedding date back a year. However, the long-awaited nuptials were worth the wait as the couple said their “I do’s” with their family and friends in attendance.

The terracotta details within Arianna and Stephen’s big day create the chic bohemian aesthetic that we love so much! From florals to table numbers to the invitation suite from Eros Studios, every wedding detail contained the beautiful and trendy terracotta color! As we all know, some of the most beautiful weather in Oklahoma happens in September. Arianna and Stephen took advantage of the fall temps and had their ceremony outside. Arianna walked down the aisle under three center arches lining the aisle from Wooden Hearts Boutique filled with greenery and terracotta blooms from Poppy Lane Design. Amanda Watson Photography’s images of the couple under the floral arches are some of our absolute favs from the day!

After becoming Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Menzel, the couple and guests made their way to the reception hall. Inside, rentals and decor from Marianne’s Rentals transformed the space into a bohemian dream! Poppy Lane Design added to the magic head table by hanging greenery and florals from the ceiling– absolutely stunning. Arianna and Stephen celebrated their night with dinner, dancing, and a delicious slice of cake from Amy Cakes. If you want to see more bohemian chic details, keep scrolling!

Arianna and Stephen’s Favorite Wedding Memory:

“We loved having the ceremony outside in the gardens at Coles Garden Wedding and Event Center with the arches from Wooden Hearts Boutique and placing the overhead floral above the tables at the reception! It was truly magical.”

Brooklynn Barnett & Ryan Biddick

Friday, August 19th, 2022

Flourishing florals from Robyn’s Flower Garden, light pinks details, and a chapel filled with an abundance of natural light – Brooklyn and Ryan’s wedding day is straight out of a fairytale! Brooklyn and Ryan met through their indoor soccer team, which they still play on together five years later. After their first soccer game, Ryan already had his eyes set on Brooklyn. He found out Brooklyn worked for a golf course and used it as an excuse to text her. It worked because Ryan got down on one knee in Arizona three years later on their anniversary. Soon after the reality of being engaged set in, the couple began planning their enchanting wedding at Glass Chapel. The couple’s breathtaking venue, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, created a truly magical place to say “I do.”

Brooklyn and Ryan’s October wedding day was everything the couple dreamed of and more! The couple spent the morning of their big day surrounded by the people they love the most. At last, the time had finally arrived for Brooklyn to walk down the aisle to her soon-to-be husband. Brooklyn’s grandpa and Ryan’s pastor co-officiate the ceremony, which made the nuptials even more special! Following the ceremony, Tammy Odell Photography captured Brooklyn and Ryan’s first photos as husband and wife. These images are absolutely adorable, and you can feel the wedding bliss radiating from the newlyweds. After all the photos, Brooklyn and Ryan were ready to celebrate with delicious food from Just Catering by Orr and a slice of cake from Sweet Devotion Cakery! The couple spent the rest of the night surrounded by the love of their favorite people as they celebrated being the new Mr. & Mrs. Biddick!

Brooklyn and Ryan’s Dream Wedding Maker:

“I absolutely loved our photographer, Tammy Odell. Not only is she the most talented photographer I have ever seen, but she is also so sweet and helpful. She kept my stress very low and knew exactly what timeline we should follow for the day.”

Sydney Shortridge & Braden Merrill

Thursday, August 18th, 2022

Sydney and Braden tied the knot with a classic and elegant New Year’s Day wedding at Pecandarosa Ranch. Sydney met Braden for the first time while studying at the OU library during finals week. The two only exchanged a few words, and Sydney believed she’d never see Braden again. A few days later, a friend invited Sydney to lunch with people he had met at church. When Sydney walked in for lunch, she was surprised to see the cute boy she met at the library sitting with her friend. The two quickly hit things off and began dating! The couple’s love story didn’t end here, though. Braden proposed at Sydney’s family’s lake house over the July 4th weekend. Both sides of the family surprised the couple, and the two families spent the weekend celebrating the future Merrills!

Sydney and Braden’s New Year’s Day wedding contained the most elegant gold and emerald green details! Before the ceremony, Sydney’s bridesmaids took turns praying over the couple’s marriage. Sydney said, “this sweet moment reminded me how blessed my husband and I are to have such impactful people in our lives.” After being surrounded by the love of her bridesmaids, Sydney took her father’s hand to walk down the aisle. Sydney radiated the bridal glow in a gown from Ellis Bridal as she walked toward her soon-to-be husband. Once the two exchanged their vows and the officiant pronounced the couple Mr. & Mrs. Merrill, Sydney and Braden walked down the aisle with true wedding bliss! The couple made their grand entrance inside the elegant reception space at Pecandarosa Ranch. Inside, The Fleuriste made all of Sydney’s floral dreams come true, while Party Pro Rents provided gold and dusty rose decor and rentals, making for an eye-catching head table! In addition, Just Catering by Orr catered a delicious dinner for guests.

Don’t miss all the beautiful images Susan Alyse Photography captured below, and read a special note from the bride herself! Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Merrill!

Sydney and Braden’s Favorite Wedding Memory:

“My favorite wedding day memory was the whole ceremony from start to finish. The moments before walking down the aisle when I was standing with my dad were so special. Then, getting to walk to Braden with all the love and confidence in the world, extremely excited to marry him.”

Jaci Hodges & Levi Gray

Wednesday, August 10th, 2022

A classic and timeless wedding with a nod to the couple’s Western ranching style, Jaci and Levi’s special day is one you don’t want to miss. Jaci and Levi both grew up in Northwest Oklahoma but only knew of each other in high school. However, it wasn’t until Jaci’s older sister went to college at Oklahoma State and became friends with Levi that the two were introduced. When Jaci visited Stillwater, Levi was always around, and she became smitten with his laid-back, fun-loving personality. Two years later, Jaci ended up at Oklahoma State for college, and Levi quickly swooped in with Jaci’s older sister’s permission. After dating for seven years, Levi finally popped the question in Aspen, Colorado, on a snowy bridge with the mountains in the background. The following weekend the two returned to OKC to celebrate with friends and began planning their dream wedding at Aspen Ranch.

Jaci and Levi’s beautiful May wedding began Friday at Aspen Ranch with a western American barbeque rehearsal dinner– how fun! The following morning, Jaci woke up at the beautiful Aspen Ranch venue with all of her best friends and got ready for the special day ahead. Once all glammed up, Jaci slipped into her classic gown from Chantilly Bridal Studio and met Levi for their first look. After capturing photos all over the ranch, the couple headed to the church to say their “I do’s.” Jaci and Levi exchanged rings from BC Clark Jewelers and sealed their love with a kiss as they were pronounced Mr. & Mrs. Levi Gray! The couple exited the church in style with a vintage blue car.

Once the couple and guests arrived back at Aspen Ranch, the cocktail hour began with a live champagne wall. During that time, Jaci and Levi snuck inside the reception hall to catch a glimpse before their guests headed inside. The couple was blown away by all the beautiful florals, rentals from Marianne’s Rentals, and of course, Amy Cakes‘ creation of a life-size saddle as the groom’s cake. In addition, Eros Studios and Wooden Hearts Boutique created a seating chart using mini horseshoes with the guests’ names, making a great party favor as well. Jaci and Levi danced the night away with their guests enjoying every moment of their big day after months of planning. The two shared a final private dance before making their grand exit. If you’re not ready for this stunning wedding to end, check out the full gallery below. Cheers!

Jaci and Levi’s Favorite Detail:

“We loved our seating chart created by Eros Studios and Wooden Hearts Boutique! Mini horseshoes with the guests name attached for a cute little party favor made up the seating chart. These paired so well with our table numbers that were also gold horseshoes. It turned out exactly how I envisioned it.”

Jessica Brown & Anu Singh

Monday, August 8th, 2022

Jessica and Anu’s wedding weekend included a traditional Hindu wedding, a surprise snowstorm, and a classic and colorful reception at The Skirvin Hilton. The couple’s love story began when Jessica and Anu attended the same medical school. However, Anu was in the class above Jessica, so the two never became close. A few years later, Jessica joined the same residency as Anu, and the two quickly realized they shared many of the same interests, specifically dogs and dog memes. After Anu proposed, the two began planning their wedding celebration, incorporating their cultures and religions. With gorgeous invitation suites from Eros Studios sent out to family and friends, guests gathered in Oklahoma City to watch and celebrate Jessica and Anu becoming husband and wife!

Jessica and Anu’s wedding weekend began Friday with the Hindu celebration portion of their wedding. Much to the couple’s and many Oklahomans’ surprise, a March snowstorm moved in Friday morning. At first, Jessica felt bummed about the snow. Nonetheless, Carsyn Craytor Photography came to the rescue and captured gorgeous photos of the couple in the snow, which made the surprise snowstorm all worth their while.

The next day, the couple celebrated with a traditional wedding ceremony and reception at The Skirvin Hilton. Like typical Oklahoma weather, the temperature warmed up to a lovely Spring day! Jessica in a classy and chic gown and Anu in a sleek suit from The Wardrobe Modern Menswear took the streets of downtown OKC to capture some adorable photos with no snow in sight. Inside the couple’s reception, Marianne’s Rentals provided a pop of color with hot pink rentals, while Ever Something lightened up the room with spring florals. In addition, Amy Cakes included the couple’s custom monogram on their four-tiered cake. The couple ended the wedding weekend by dancing the night away with their guests! Keep scrolling to see more gorgeous photos Carsyn Craytor Photography captured below. Cheers!

Jessica and Anu’s Dream Wedding Maker:

“Ever Something is so good at what they do. I was so excited when I found them. I wasn’t really that specific with what I wanted and left a lot of it up to them. They did even better than I could have imagined. When I walked in and saw the floral pillars in the ceremony room, I almost cried.”

Rachel McIntire & Captain Michael Archer

Friday, August 5th, 2022

Rachel and Michael tied the knot with an elegant wedding full of rustic charm at Southwind Hills. Honoring their military roots and heritage was an incredibly important aspect of Rachel and Michael’s big day, as Michael is a Captain, and Rachel’s father is a retired Brigadier General. When the couple first matched on Tinder, Michael had no idea that Rachel was his commandant’s daughter, which Rachel believed would scare him away. However, due to their undeniable connection, Michael didn’t run, and the couple knew what they had was forever. After returning home from deployment, Michael proposed with an engagement ring, which the two designed together, in their home. Of course, Rachel said, “YES,” and the two began planning all the details of their December rustic charm wedding.

On the morning of the big day, Rachel woke up at The Skirvin Hilton after celebrating with a rehearsal dinner at Pepperoni Grill- Edmond the night before. Downstairs a limo waited to take Rachel and her family to Southwind Hills to begin getting ready for the big day. Once they arrived at the venue, Brushed Salon and Makeup Studio was there to start the glam process. Once all glammed up, Rachel slipped into her gown and accessorized with her ‘something old’ a pair of antique cameo earrings that belonged to her grandmother. At last, Rachel was ready to meet Michael at the altar. The couple said “I do” under a floral arch inside the elegant rustic barn at Southwind Hills. After being announced husband and wife, the newlyweds made their way down the aisle underneath a saber arch.

The couple proceeded into their rustic charm reception space filled with navy blue and gold decor from Marianne’s Rentals. In addition, floral arrangements accented with Burgundy blooms from Southwind Hills Floral hung from the ceiling. Ashley Sunderland Photography captured every detail from the invitation suite from Paper + More to all the beautiful floral designs– no detail was overlooked. We are so excited to share more details Ashley Sunderland Photography captured below. Keep scrolling!

Rachel and Michael’s Favorite Memory:

From the bride, “The moment I began to walk down the aisle. To see everything that I had dreamed of before me, all of the people I care about there, and my soon to be husband waiting, it was magical. Every single last detail was absolute perfection.”
