Maria Chajecki and Kevin Wiltz’s Organic Modern Wedding at Coles Garden

Maria and Kevin treated his mom with a trip to Cancun to celebrate her birthday. The couple took a day trip to the nearby town of Tulum to explore. After going on a snorkeling trip, Maria and Kevin went to a beachfront restaurant. As the sun began to set, a local band started to serenade the restaurant while they enjoyed their meals. Kevin seized the opportunity and proposed to Maria, and she of course said yes!

On April 16, 2016, Maria and Kevin were married at St. Francis of Assisi, and held a reception at Coles Garden. The couple wanted an organic yet traditional style of wedding, which the colors of blush, ivory, nude and silver accomplished flawlessly. One of the inspirations for the color scheme was the king protea, a flower that was also included in the bridal bouquet. Maria looked gorgeous in a Hayley Paige gown and German-inspired crown, and guests enjoyed a beautiful blush ombré cake. Each of the tables at the reception was decorated with pictures of all the generations of the newlyweds’ families, and C2 Catering provided their favorite cultural dishes.

Maria and Kevin shared their first dance to “All of Me” by John Legend. One of the couple’s favorite moments from the wedding was being able to have all of their friends and family in one place; they traveled from three different continents just to see them get married! It was truly a day they will never forget.

After the ceremony, Maria and Kevin went to Columbia for their honeymoon. The happy couple currently lives in Oklahoma City.
