Megan and Nathan met at Belmont University during orientation for their graduate school program. Megan, running late, ended up sitting at a table with Nathan and his classmates. Little did they both know this chance meeting was the beginning of their love story. The two talked that night, which led to more conversation. The rest is history!
While in their favorite place, Scottsdale, Arizona, the pair made plans to hike to the top of Tom’s Thumb Trail and visit a place called The Garden. It was there that Nathan surprised Megan with a new pair of Nike shoes that read, “Marry Me?” on the tongues. The couple set their date for November 11, 2015.
Megan wanted a classy but fun affair and decided to have their wedding at the Redeemer Covenant Church. Inspired by one of her mother’s bracelets, Megan chose navy, gold and ivory as the colors for their big day. The bride looked stunning as she walked down the aisle in a gorgeous strapless ball gown with a sweetheart neckline. The top was beaded with a combination of crystals and pearls. The entire wedding was memorable and fun for the newlyweds, but being around all of their friends and family while dancing and singing was the highlight of their night.
At the reception, the bride and groom shared their first dance to “All I Ask of You” by Josh Groban and Kelly Clarkson. After such a wonderful night the couple didn’t want to end, Megan and Nathan headed to their honeymoon in the Western Caribbean visiting Jamaica, Cozumel and Grand Cayman.
The happy couple now resides in Bixby, Oklahoma.
