If you’re a creative at heart, this vibrant shoot is all the spring garden wedding inspiration you’ll need! Give your wedding an artistic edge by pulling inspiration from a well-known artist like Monet. We’re loving Lauryn Lamb Events’ interpretation of “Modern Monet”, complete with water lilies and Koi fish! Breathtaking Myriad Botanical Gardens is the perfect location for a spring wedding. Your guests will love strolling through the grounds and exploring the 15-acre, natural escape in the heart of downtown OKC. The Flower Shop Pryor‘s designs are filled with lush blooms in blush tones, muted oranges, and various hues of purple. The purple details continued with lilac table linens from Eventures and complementing gold chairs.
Purple may not be an obvious choice for a bridal makeup look, but we’re obsessed with this dramatic ombré eye by M Salon. It pairs undeniably well with the chic updo also by M Salon. Lastly, the unique hairpiece and ballgown with a sweetheart neckline from JJ Kelly complete the look. Have you ever seen a more unique place card than the watercolor Koi design from Paper + More? Together with the deep blue accents and watercolor invitation detail, this invitation suite is Monet-approved! A cake stand with a Koi fish might be a first for guests, but the incredibly detailed 3-tier cake by Mishelle Handy Cakes will get all the attention, especially after they take a bite! This spring wedding inspiration was captured in bright, airy images by Ashton Marie Photography. Explore more below and don’t miss the BTS video shot by Pulley Productions!
From Lauryn Lamb: “My biggest inspiration for this shoot was the early 2000s trend of fish bowls as centerpieces. I truly believe that anything can be made upscale and that is why I took to Monet’s series of water lily paintings for my color palette. I associate ponds and water lilies with Koi, so the design came full circle!”
