Do you recommend a bride do a hair/make-up trial run before the big day? Yes absolutely! It takes the stress off of the wedding day. We can run through your style, and that gives us a chance to meet you, and get familiar with your hair and skin type.
What beauty product should every bride have with her at all times? She should always carry her gloss to keep for any touch ups.
What beauty trends are you noticing this fall? I am noticing rich lip colors. Deep reds and plums. For hair I am noticing more vintage styles, 20’s theme and a little victorian type updo’s.
What’s your favorite shade of eyeshadow? I love to use shadow colors that will enhance my brides natural eye color. But a color I use on most everyone is a pretty gold shade. That will warm up their look no matter what eye color.
Do you recommend false lashes? I do. They don’t have to look “fake” either. I like to use lashes that just enhance your lashes for pictures.
What are the advantages of airbrush make-up? Airbrush makeup is a water based foundation that sprays on and stays on your face, and doesn’t rub off on clothes, doesn’t cry or sweat off. It also gives you a flawless look without being cakey or heavy.
Any other helpful beauty tips for brides on their big day? Make sure you drink plenty of water, it will help your skin to have that special glow, and keep from feeling faint and looking pale. Try not to stress and enjoy your day with your bridesmaids and family. It helps your hairstyle to stay put when your hair isn’t freshly washed. Don’t try a new beauty routine right before your wedding. You don’t want your skin to have any unexpected redness or breakouts.
