Kenny asked Victoria to marry him during a sweet date night stroll through Myriad Gardens, so it was only fitting for them to return to this special spot for their classic golden hour engagement session with Ashley Sunderland Photography! Ashley captured the couple’s personalities so well, both their playful side and a more romantic, intimate side of these two, beautifully displayed among the garden’s landscape and sunshine streaming through. This couple’s story is one many can probably relate to: a chance meeting on Tinder that quickly turned into more than a friendship. It clearly worked out well for Kenny and Victoria (read below to see the sweet way Kenny proposed) and we couldn’t be happier for this adorable couple! Cheers!

How he proposed: M’y fiancé proposed on one of our ‘regular’ date nights. We had made plans to go eat at one of my favorite restaurants and then planned to go walk around the Myriad Botanical Gardens afterward to enjoy the nice weather. This was something we normally do, so I had no suspicions whatsoever. After dinner, we head to the gardens and Kenny tells me he bought me a surprise that he thinks I will like. Now I still wasn’t suspicious, only because sometimes he would randomly surprise me with little gifts here and there, and this gift was in a small bag. So, we’re walking around the gardens and I’m bugging him – wanting to open the gift and asking him what’s inside it. We end up sitting down on the stair steps facing the conservatory, and he takes both my hands into his and starts telling me all these sweet things. I immediately begin to realize what was about to happen, and my mind just goes blank and I start crying. He then pulls out of the bag this little cork cactus that has our picture on it that said ‘Will you marry me?’ Inside that cactus was a little cushion holding the ring and at this point, we’re both crying. He then gets down on one knee to ask me and I say yes.”
