Love You a Latte | Sweet Engagement Session by Ricki Thompson Media

There’s no better way to say “I love you a latte” than to share a local craft coffee with your future spouse! Tanna and Blake did just that and had a blast exploring downtown Oklahoma City for their engagement session with Ricki Thompson Media. Starting their day with laughs over lattes at Clarity Coffee before jaunting to 21C Museum Hotel, Myriad Gardens and the Boathouse District. OKC boasts so many wonderful and picturesque locations within a short distance from each other, so it was fun to see so many showcased in one session! Congrats to these college sweethearts who tied the knot this fall – scroll down below to read more of their sweet story!

From the bride on how they met: “Blake and I met through Greek Life shows at Oklahoma State! He directed a show with my best friend, and I would always go to their practices to talk to her but would end up talking the whole time with him instead. For the longest time I thought we were just friends, and he ended up having to persuade me to go on a date with him before I left to study abroad in England for six months. Looking back I can’t believe he was so persistent, but I am extremely glad he was!”

How he proposed: “Blake’s proposal was truly the most thoughtful and creative thing I’ve ever experienced. I have an art history degree, so obviously I love art and have taken him to several art museums. When he proposed, he took me to a local art gallery in Stillwater. Hanging on the back wall was a series of pictures of us at different stages in our relationship, and he had put all the photos into a computer program to make them look like they were made by famous artists (Warhol, Picasso, Matisse, etc.). The series of pictures ended with a skyline painted by one of my best friends of Charlotte, North Carolina, where we are moving this fall. Once I had walked through this little exhibit of our relationship and realized what was happening, he got on one knee and asked me to marry him.”
