Captured by the wonderfully talented Brianna Record Photography, we are head-over-heels in love with Michelle and Jerrad’s romantic Oklahoma wedding! After an eight-month engagement, the couple finally shared their “I dos” and celebrated with family and friends at The Springs in Edmond, an Oklahoma fave. The bride wore a gorgeous ivory lace gown with a high neckline from Meg Guess Couture Bridal & Boutique. She looked effortlessly beautiful thanks to the exquisite hair artistry from blo. And to complement her impeccable elegance, she carried a beautiful bouquet by Tony Foss Flowers, inspired by natural fall hues of blush, burgundy, navy and gold. With bridesmaids at her side dressed in varying chiffon gowns from Prim, Michelle and Jerrad sealed the deal with an unforgettable kiss and ventured inside to celebrate the sweetest of marriages! Bringing their vision to life, Marianne’s Rentals filled the venue with a striking set up, and to top it all off, Mishelle Handy Cakes created tasty treats that looked absolutely divine, and tasting even better! Congratulations Michelle and Jerrad! Your wedding sure was a dream, and we can’t wait for our Oklahoma brides to see!

For an elevated take on boudoir photos, we’re swooning over this elegant floral shoot captured by Kristen Edwards Photography! Set at The Old Trinity of Paseo, towering gothic, cathedral-style windows and glittering chandeliers set the scene for a glamorous backdrop. A beige tufted couch served as the sole decor focus as seating for the shoot, provided by KRK Studios and Rentals. Inspire Events & Design created floral arrangements displayed in the most unique ways – draped over the couch, tied in as a hair piece and even as the model bride’s bandeau top embellishment! Aside from her floral attire, the model bride also donned a soft blue slip gown and silk floral robe from Prim and a drapy nude bodysuit and white lace romper from Chantilly Couture. We can’t get enough of these gorgeous photos!

Bridal Beauty Tips from Kadi Uhack Makeup

Beauty insight for the big day is on every bride’s mind, so we sat down with Oklahoma makeup artist Kadi Uhack to bring you the 411 on the latest bridal beauty tips and trends! Read on for her expert advice and a few helpful tricks to make sure you’re every bit the blushing bride on your wedding day!

Q. What advice do you have for a bride trying to find the right look for her day?

A. My advice would be for her to think about the feeling she wants her to wedding to evoke. The modern bride creates a  mood rather than theme for her wedding. For example, check out your inspiration boards. Are the pictures bright, airy, feature bold pops of color, or more dark and sultry? A good make up artist will be able to help you translate this into the perfect look for your big day!

Q. What are the current makeup trends for brides?

A. The big trend I’m seeing (and loving!) is the “no makeup” makeup. I love that this look is centered around your own unique features, rather than noticeable product.

Q. What should a bride to do prepare for her wedding?

A. This is a great time to start a nighttime ritual to get your skin in tip top shape for your wedding. There is nothing better for your complexion than going to bed with clean, moisturized skin. Start this a few months out, and when your wedding day arrives, you’ll be glowing from within!

Q. What is the most important beauty product every bride should have?

A. There is nothing better than having a great lip stain! Every bride should have lips that will last from the first kiss to cutting the cake. Your makeup artist will help you find the right shade and formula for you. My favorites are MAC retro mattes and Limecrime Velvetines.

Q. Any other insider tips you have for brides-to-be?

A. Don’t be afraid to speak up! As a makeup artist we are here to serve you. Always share your likes, dislikes and true feelings about an application. This communication ensures we truly capture the look that leaves you feeling comfortable, confident and beautiful on your wedding day!

Botanical Romance Wedding Captured by Ely Fair Photography

This sweet couple’s love story began through a camera lense as Attila filmed an album release party for local band, Them Hounds, where he caught the attention of one of the pretty singers (you guessed it, it was Erin!). Erin and Attila’s artsy and classic wedding showcased beautiful blooms, stunning scenery, posh rentals and all things lovely in between! Inspired by jewel tones and mother nature, Erin chose a color palette of gold, sea foam green and burgundy. These hues perfectly complemented the botanical atmosphere, as did her breathtaking Maggie Sottero champagne silk gown. Erin radiated pure beauty as she so effortlessly sported the gown’s plunging neckline, flowing skirt and delicate beading. Moliere Bridal House sure knew what they were doing when they sold her this beauty! Ruby’s Vintage Rentals provided the perfect pieces to decorate their superb setting. Box Talent Agency kept the party going while their live band, Smooch, had guests on the dance floor all night long. Special thanks to Emerson Events for supplying fabulous florals and wedding planning expertise and Ely Fair Photography for capturing every moment of this wondrous wedding!
