If you’re a fan of anything that shines like we are, you will be in awe of this metallic wedding inspiration captured by Hope Photography! This sparkling style has been trending this summer, and we expect it to continue long into the cold season. Set in a dessert-vibe, the team behind the shoot opted to combine gold, silver and copper tones together for a chic twist on the classic metallic accent. The model bride looked positively radiant with gold accessories in her hair styled by Brushed Salon. The invitations by Prairie Letter Shop perfectly tie into the look perfectly with her gold calligraphy. The talented Round House Bakery combined precious metals to create the stunning wedding cake that sits as a focal piece for the tablescape. Keep this look in mind!

We are majorly crushing on this classically romantic, charming southern wedding planned by XO Events & Design and captured by Kristina Gaines Photography! Katie and Jared’s wedding at The Springs in Edmond was unforgettable in tones of navy, ivory, blush and gold. Katie looked stunning while outfitted in her dream-wedding gown – a scalloped lace Allure dress with a long, elegant chapel-length train from The Bridal Boutique, with relaxed Old-Hollywood curls and dramatic makeup by Malorie Avaline – Beauty Unveiled. Her bridesmaids wore various colors of blush and ivory gowns from Prim that complemented the bride perfectly. After the ceremony, Katie and Jared arrived at their reception, with the help of King’s Limousine, to a dazzling set up by Marianne’s Rentals. Be sure and check out their awe-worthy video by Dewberry Cinema below! Congratulations to the happy couple!

We’ve rounded up five must-see wedding trends any Oklahoma bride should consider when planning her big day. From lighting to cake design, we’re spotlighting our favorites we’ve seen lately. Take a peek then hop over to our Wedding Inspiration page to look through more fab Oklahoma weddings!

Industrial Lighting – The Edison bulb has added such a cool vibe to wedding scenes. This hanging option from Innovative Event Solutions certainly caught our eye! Try pairing this lighting trend with greenery and rustic wooden details for the ultimate industrial setting.

Hanging Florals – While tall, over-sized wedding centerpieces will always be a classic, we’ve come to love overhead, hanging floral arrangements! Drawing the eye up, they add depth and color to your space, and your guests will easily be able to see each other across the table. We love that Poppy Lane Design paired this hanging design with a greenery table runner below.

Nearly Naked Cakes – We saw loads of naked cakes in 2015, but the nearly naked cake has been a special addition to Oklahoma weddings this year. With barely-there icing it’s a more modern take on this wedding cake trend while still giving that lovely organic feel. Amy Cakes whipped up this cake trio – another cake trend we’ve come to love!

Custom Calligraphy Signage – Oh how we love pretty calligraphy! Adding this elegant touch to your wedding decor gives a personal touch in a way other wedding details can’t. Use it on wooden boards and add greenery for an organic, outdoor wedding or have your calligraphy scripted on glass and set on an easel for a glamourous ballroom affair.

Custom Lounge Settings – We’ve enjoyed seeing lounge areas appear in more and more weddings this year. Adding lounge settings is an easy way to add more seating to your space, elaborate on your wedding theme or style and really just have an amazing focal point! You’ll find pieces ranging from modern glam to rustic vintage from our incredible rental companies.

The Sweetest Spain Ranch Engagement Shoot from Deisy Photography

We are head over heels for Erin and Tristan’s Spain Ranch engagement shoot captured by Deisy Photography! The grounds of this stunning Tulsa wedding venue were the perfect backdrop for their fun-filled and loving session.

The couple first met during their undergraduate years of college, where Tristan was Erin’s Anatomy teaching assistant. While on a spring break trip to New York City, the two visited the Empire State Building. Once on top of the building, Tristan proposed to Erin, and she of course said yes!

Erin and Tristan will be married this October at The Hall at the Railhouse in Norman. They want their wedding to have a vintage and rustic theme, with colors of merlot and navy. The couple is most excited for their first dance at the reception, and they have even been taking dance lessons to get ready for the big moment! We can’t wait to see everything come together for their big day. Congratulations Erin and Tristan!
