Where the fiesta theme meets a passion for travel and a lighthearted love comes this wanderlust wedding inspiration from The Carter Collective! Photographed atop a lakeside cliff at Eufala, this colorful scene gives us all the vacation vibes and inspo galore for a gorgeous wedding with hints of boho and vintage elements! From the planning to photography and florals, The Carter Collective is a one-stop wedding shop, and as evidenced in this styled shoot, their work speaks for itself! The model bride sports a few different looks with her hair au natural, both in a tousled updo and down beneath a chic felt hat, complementing her bold lace gown from The Bridal Boutique. Bright blues and teals mix with blush and gold within the tablescape, while more bold colors appear in the cozy al fresco lounge area complete with vintage furniture and travel trunks serving as tables. So cute! We love the antique window frames used as an open-air altar that allows the sweeping lake views to be seen from all around, and the sweet treats in this scene do not disappoint, from the cakes to the cocktails and fun mobile bar! Succulents and cacti weave their way into the scene from the invitations, table and seating chart to the bride’s bouquet. Full of whimsy and wanderlust, this styled shoot is everything we could want for a rad summer wedding! Enjoy!

From Bobbye Carter, planner, florist & photographer: “For a fresh take on the fiesta style wedding, I really wanted to use interesting elements like the kale and succulents in the florals. Instead of going with all shockingly bright oranges and reds, I worked with a more subtle color palette to create a design that would lure brides into this fiesta style but in a classy way.”

For this sweet couple in love and about to begin their forever together, an urban sunset engagement session with Susan Alyse Photography was the perfect way to capture their story and their personalities, with intimate, adventurous and emotional images they’ll cherish for years to come! Susan took soon-to-be newlyweds Blake and Jacob to Oklahoma City’s hip and picturesque Midtown district for some moody and lighthearted, sun-drenched photos before heading to a local lake for a few more low-key, intimate and romantic portraits as the sun faded below the horizon. Blake and Jacob will be married overlooking one of Tulsa’s dreamiest views at Dream Point Ranch, and we’re not sure these two could be any cuter together! Enjoy these photos from Susan Alyse!

From the bride-to-be on how they met and got engaged: “Jacob and I met when I was a freshman and he was a sophomore at Bixby High School in 2010. We started dating that summer in June of 2011. Jacob proposed to me on the Saturday before Christmas 2018 at the Gathering Place, Tulsa’s Riverfront Park. He took me on a walk in the Four Seasons Garden which is a beautiful trail surrounded by giant rock towers.”

We’re so thrilled to share this styled shoot full of southern charm from Rustic Rose Barn – a new venue in Guthrie, Oklahoma, that’s beyond gorgeous and perfect for a big southern soirée! Wanting to set the scene with quintessentially southern details and a bright and airy color palette, the team chose whites, grays and light blues to add brightness to the space and pop against the venue’s natural wood walls, while Emily Nicole Photo captured the whole day beautifully! With accents of peach and gold in the florals, cake and table settings, any southern girl is sure to swoon over this setup. We love the tablescape from Marianne’s, with chairs that perfectly match the venue’s aesthetic and the way it features a few varying types of place settings with different chargers and linens. Everything’s tied together in the flatware and dainty menu cards at each spot. The dessert table features the prettiest four-tiered cake and sweet little cookies with roses and mason jars and barns – all the southern charm you could want! The bride wore a stunning boho fishtail braid, swept to the side to show off the open back of her princess-style ballgown with a tiered tulle and lace skirt. What a vision! The couple stands atop Rustic Rose Barn‘s dreamy balcony to overlook their dream day before heading outside to catch a gorgeous golden hour sunset with the beautiful barn in the background. If you’re wanting a wedding day filled with bright and classic details and all the southern charm, look no further than this inspirational shoot. Cheers!
