Prepare to be blown away by this vibrant pink rooftop wedding inspiration shoot designed and styled by Alli Coleman Events! Captured beautifully by Modern Love Photography atop the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, this shoot is so full of life that we just can’t help but swoon over all the bright and vivid color, fresh flowers and amazing food featured throughout the editorial. Marianne’s Rentals provided the luxe setup, an unexpected combo with a rustic farmhouse table paired with contemporary ghost chairs. We love the blooms by Tony Foss Flowers, especially those perfect stargazer lilies that complement the model bride’s modern gown from Meg Guess Couture Bridal & Boutique! The two-tiered, patterned cake by Amy Cakes and the stationery from Loni Jane Creative are both fresh and fun, and the food from Abbey Road Catering not only looks delicious but adds to the colorful tablescape. Our bride looked beautiful thanks to the team at Blo. and jewels from BC Clark Jewelers. Keep scrolling for more cheerfully pink wedding inspiration, just in time for Valentine’s Day!

From the planner: “Since farm tables have been popular for several years, I had to think outside the box to show off the table in a new light! I used two tables and stacked them to make a square for a large head table. This specific table had height options, so I chose the tall pub height for extra interest. I wanted everything to be romantic with a contemporary touch and the rest just fell into place. The downtown skyline added necessary drama to the simple details.”

High-end, heavy hors d’oueuvres
Pan-Seared Sea Scallop Served Atop a Jack Daniels Sweet Potato Mash With Crumbled Pistachios, Caramelized Red Onion, and Finished with a Merlot-Cinnamon-Pear Jus
What is your signature dish? We have so many signature dishes, it is hard to limit.
What advice do you have for brides who are trying decide between a sit-down vs. buffet style meal? With large groups, we recommend multiple food stations throughout the venue: different and unique culinary experiences that help define who you are as a couple. Perhaps the cuisine tells your story, or my culinary team may just put an innovative twist on some of your favorite foods. This type of food service provides more of a 3 hour “party” atmosphere. It keeps both families interacting, keeping the cuisine fork friendly, and you are not stuck sitting with the same eight people all evening. We also incorporate tall cocktail tables and lounge furniture.
Do you offer menu tastings? Yes, absolutely. We offer an open house tasting every quarter at Coles Garden. The event is normally scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of each quarter from 5:30 to 8:30pm, come and go, with full bar service as well. If for some reason these dates do not work for you, my culinary team will be happy to provide a private tasting.
Do you have a set menu or do you offer custom menus? Both.
What advice do you have to offer brides and grooms? Lay back and enjoy the ride and allow those you are paying to stress out for you – it’s what we do for a living.

Our menu is broad, but our cuisine focuses on modern American classics with an Oklahoma influence.
Herb-Crusted Black Angus Beef Tenderloin with Amaretto-Infused Sweet Potatoes and Sautéed Green Beans
What is your signature dish? We did nearly 500 events last year, and no two events are the exact same, so it’s hard to name just one signature dish. We do a fantastic Lemon Thyme Grilled Chicken Breast served with Creamy Garlic Aioli. It’s a crowd pleaser and budget-friendly, so it’s definitely one of our popular items.
What advice do you have for brides who are trying decide between a sit-down vs. buffet-style meal? This decision truly comes down to personal style and how the bride and groom want their guests to experience the event. A sit-down, plated dinner can be sophisticated, elegant and give your guests a real chance to relax and be waited on. On the other hand, a buffet dinner or heavy hors d’ouevres encourages guests to mingle, graze throughout the event and introduce a wider variety of menu selections.
Do you offer menu tastings? Yes. We offer quarterly group tastings where we pull together a broad selection of our most popular items for our booked clients. This gives them a chance to taste our food, see our food displays and chat with our sales team. We do offer private tastings as needed such as times when clients live out of state or a menu is highly customized.
Do you have a set menu or do you offer custom menus? After 18 years in business, we have a great selection of house dishes, and we are always expanding our repertoire. We gladly work with clients to build custom menus, too, and often, those are some of the most exciting times in our kitchen.
What advice do you have to offer brides and grooms? It is your day, but don’t forget about your guests. All of us vendors in the industry have been to more weddings than anyone rightly should. What that means, though, is that if you hear one of us make suggestions based on experience, listen. We never want to take away from our client’s vision, but we are just as invested as they are in pulling off a memorable experience for everyone.
Today’s inspiration comes in the form of incredible southern comfort food from Harris Custom Catering, captured by Picturesque Photos by Amanda! Featured in the latest issue of Brides of Oklahoma as part of the Oklahoma wedding catering spotlight, Chef Harris and the Harris Custom Catering team brings amazing dishes to life and add that special something to your celebration! Our biggest cuisine inspiration is comfort food from the South; however, most menus end up being a fusion of cuisines and we are excited for new ideas and challenges!
Street Tacos 3 Ways: Pulled pork tacos (standard size and petite) with crema, cojita cheese, in-house guacamole and fresh pico de gallo, and sweet and spicy shrimp tacos with cilantro lime slaw
What is your signature dish? We really don’t have a signature dish. Every menu is customized to suit the bride and groom. We love to collaborate with them or use their favorite dishes as inspiration for their menu. We do, however, love garlic and fresh herbs!
What advice do you have for brides who are trying decide between a sit-down vs. buffet style meal? Our advice to brides is to evaluate the ambiance they are trying to create and how formal they want the meal to feel for their guests. The other thing to consider is that it does generally take more time for a plated meal.
Do you offer menu tastings? We absolutely offer tastings, after a collaborated menu is decided on.
Do you have a set menu or do you offer custom menus? We do not have a set menu, although we have our staple dishes. Every menu is unique to the bride and groom’s reception. We consider their desires for the meal and the budgeted amount and use those as guidelines to create something custom for their guests.
What advice do you have to offer brides and grooms? Don’t be afraid to do something out of the box that represents you as a couple! Those little things are what will set your reception apart and make it memorable.
