For all of our lovely brides in search of winter wedding inspiration, look no further than this elegant, rustic winter wedding shoot captured by Deisy Photography and styled by Blair Sims Events! Set amidst a tree-lined spot at The Stone Barn, the crisp, earthy feel of winter foliage grounded the shoot, specifically centering around the use of frosted pine cones. Used as place card holders, table decor and in the greenery and white floral arrangements by Trochta’s Flowers, these traditional winter decor staples brought an undeniably festive feel to the setting. Hand written calligraphy vows from Rachel Kathryn Designs were used as unique table decor, while a gorgeous three-tier, evergreen and gold foil cake from Brown Egg Bakery served as a festive centerpiece to a glittering tabletop lit with candles and silver lanterns. Most dazzling of all was the model bride’s modern two-piece look, complete with lacy long sleeves, a trailing skirt and appliqué shawl to match from Prescott Bridal. She and her bridesmaids’ ethereal hair and makeup looks from Lexi Faught were the perfect complement to the rustic woods setting. We can’t get enough of this winter wedding beauty! Enjoy!

Season after season we are always on the lookout for the latest designs from Leanne Marshall. With uber feminine designs, it’s hard not to be completely enamored with each darling design she creates. For her Spring 2018 collection, aptly named #GirlsKingdom, designer Leanne Marshall focused on creating silhouettes that celebrate and flatter a woman’s curves. Taking feedback from her customer base, this is her first collection that has no strapless gowns, while full-length sleeves take centerstage due to the overwhelming requests from her brides. Gowns from the line feature rustic-looking guipure lace in feathered and lattice patterns, bohemian Americana-influenced long sleeves, raised necklines and plunging backs – all topping the line’s trademark floating, weightless silk chiffon skirts. The show-stoppers of this collection are Soleil and the Soleil/Solana separates: two full A-line silk organza gowns in a gradient blush/violet/ivory print developed from Leanne’s signature watercolor artwork. Aren’t they lovely?! Shop these new designs locally at Meg Guess Couture Bridal & Boutique – call 405.418.8898 to schedule your appointment. Happy shopping!

For a fun take on the timeless tradition, we’re obsessing over the sweetness of this antique-chic boho bridal shower! The team at Linen + Rust helped create the perfect setting for the gathering of gals using vintage-esq furniture and decor to create a festive food and drink station and a cozy seating area complete with plush and patterned throw pillows for extra spots around the bride-to-be. Overflowing florals in a clean palate of ivory, blues and ample greenery added to the boho setting in carefully placed arrangements as tabletop centerpieces and drawer decor, all from Ever Something. Soft shades of blue helped to tie all of the setting’s elements together, including the delicate watercolor and calligraphy invitations created by Prairie Letter Shop. Spicy margaritas and delicious cake abound, we’re sure this soon-to-be bride was well-celebrated! Cheers!

Lovely Eleven Oaks Ranch Engagement Shoot by Modern Love Photography

We’re swooning over this elegant outdoor styled engagement shoot from Modern Love Photography! Eleven Oaks Ranch was the perfect backdrop with gorgeous natural light and an abundance of greenery to radiate a rustic-chic feel. Jelena looks breathtaking in her unique Chantel Lauren gown from Chantilly Couture while Nathan fashions a clean-cut black suit.

Jelena and Nathan met in college at the University of Oklahoma just one semester before she graduated. They almost missed each other, but thankfully fate intervened and brought these love birds together! Nathan proposed when they took a trip to New York City for New Years Eve. As the ball was dropping at midnight in Times Square, he asked Jelena to spend forever with him. What a dream!

The couple will be married on July 7 at the Sparrow in Stillwater. Jelena and Nathan are planning a rustic wedding with a touch of shabby-chic in colors of grey, ivory, green and dusty blue. We hope you love this shoot just as much as we do!
