Talia Morgan with Inspire Events & Design designed three gorgeous scenes ready to inspire every aspect of a wedding at The Skirvin Hilton in downtown Oklahoma City. Curated by the range of vignettes and colors at this iconic locale, she dreamed up three scenes to wow guests. Despite having undergone a major renovation recently, The Skirvin kept many of the historic elements that charm the hotel. From the original elevator doors to the woodwork, tile and stories – this hotel was nothing short of inspiring when Talia was searching for her color palette. She worked with the colors woven into the hotel’s history – blues, yellows and cremes – to bring her vision to life. Starting with a rehearsal dinner setting, guests dine among floral swags in The Skirvin Hilton‘s Park Avenue Grill. The restaurant is filled with historic Oklahoma charm and art deco flair. Before the wedding, guests will arrive to see the entry’s sweeping staircase decked in greenery, and floral-adorned hoops hang above a lounge that is sure to be Instagrammed all night long. From there, guests make their way upstairs for a ceremony scene with hanging matching floral hoops and a greenery-lined aisle, followed by a reception in the ballroom filled with towering floral centerpieces. We know you’ll love the details captured by Sheradee Hurst Photography as much as we do! Enjoy!

Tara Lokey Photography beautifully captured the love between Kelli and Corey in this oh-so-lovely lakeside engagement shoot! The simplicity and elegance of the outdoor setting brings your attention to the joy and excitement these two share. Wrapped in each others arms, the couple looks breathtaking in every shot.

Kelli and Corey met in the most extraordinary of circumstances. Corey, a professional golfer from Australia, came to America at age 18 on a golf scholarship to Oklahoma Christian University. Through friends he met at golf clubs and around town, he soon met Kelli’s brother-in-law. Eventually, Kelli met Corey, and after that it didn’t take long for sparks to fly! While on vacation in San Fransisco, Kelli was elated when Corey popped the question in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. It was one of the happiest moments of Kelli’s life!

The two were married last month at the Gaillardia Country Club in Oklahoma City. One of Kelli’s favorite details from her wedding was the venue. Originally intended to be held outside, Mother Nature decided otherwise. She was pleasantly surprised with her new indoor setting and could’t have been happier with her ceremony space! Congrats to this happy couple!

Caitlyn and John’s colorful spring wedding held at the bride’s parent’s farmhouse left us speechless. The amazing Poppy Lane Design provided the stunning florals that filled the celebration, and Marianne’s Rentals brought rustic furniture rentals. Caitlyn looked gorgeous in her cap-sleeve lace gown while her bridesmaids complemented her in strapless mocha dresses – all from Moliere Bridal House. Abbey Road Catering stayed true to the backyard feel of the wedding and created a lovely farm-to-table spread which was followed by a floral-topped cake by Amy Cakes. Find Caitlyn and John’s celebration on pages A77-78 of the Spring/Summer 2017 issue. Enjoy!
