Since it’s such a focal point, we think your venue should represent exactly what kind of bride you are. Are you an elegant bride who would like a grand ballroom to make an entrance in? Or are you an unconventional bride who would like to say your vows with sharks swimming over your head? Check out this list we’ve put together of Oklahoma wedding venues to suit exactly your style.

We’ve been gushing over Dru and Brooks’ elegant Victorian-inspired wedding at Gaillardia Country Club ever since it arrived in our inbox. Dru chose a color palette of berry with hints of blush pink and heavy gold accents to start her planning which led to the garden-esque reception scene the country club transformed to below. The romantic scene was set thanks to decor from Marianne’s Rentals and Ruby’s Vintage Rentals, lighting from Innovative Event Solutions, music from Hook (arranged by Box Talent Agency) and a towering cake design by Mishelle Handy Cakes. The stunning bride entered wearing a flowing Maggie Sottero gown from Moliere Bridal with lovely hair and makeup by Malorie Avaline – Beauty Unveiled. Her bridesmaids complemented in berry Bill Levkoff gowns from Moliere as well. The guests were happy to attend after receiving luxe invites from Paper + More, prepping them for the enchanted evening that followed. Dru and Brooks departed the country club in a vintage car from King’s Limousine, and fireworks shot off as they drove away. See all the highlights, including an appearance by Rumble the Bison, in the video below from Pen Weddings. Cheers to the newlyweds!

Showing Shoulder – Bearing your arms takes on a whole new look this season with the rise of the off shoulder gown. From delicate 3-D petal embroidered versions to structured lace, this figure flattering trend is a sure hit for any bride-to-be!

Anything but White – Continuing with provision of non-traditional bridal wear options, playful splashes of color were spotted across collections in between the expected classic white. Gowns took on new hues this season, from a more classic soft blush to the unexpected powder and baby blues.

Stylish Toppers – A built-in bridal accessory adding the perfect amount of pizzazz, attached capes allow for a glammed up moment in the most un-fussy way. Whether dripping in crystal and bead embellishment or billowing behind in an airy tulle overlay, delicate capes serve as the perfect addition to wedding day looks this season.

Modest High Necks – This season brought neck lines in extremes, for both ultra-conservative and boldly daring looks. With the former, maximum coverage proved undeniably chic with high neck shapes. Raising the necklines and adding a bit more structure throughout the bodice for the turns up the drama!

Voluminous Sleeves – Nodding to a season of unique shapes, voluminous sleeves in varying textures were seen across many of the collections for Fall 2017. Isabelle Armstrong’s options decidedly packed the most punch in versions of billowing sheer embroidery featuring French cuffs and a full lace coverage option with delicate crystal and bead embroidery throughout the sleeve. These high drama elements in full shapes bring a classic feel to a modern look!
