What better time to release a new issue than at the top of the New Year?! We’ve been dying to share every bit of wedding inspiration and information hidden inside the pages of the new issue alongside the shiny new Spring/Summer 2021 cover! Without further adieu, we’d like to introduce you to the team behind this oh-so-inviting cover image from our Modern March fashion editorial, captured by Tammy Odell Photography! The setting at Tulsa Garden Center‘s Mansion at Woodward Park was picture perfect for our Little Women inspired fashion shoot, and the garden’s cobblestone steps look as if they’ve jumped from the novel’s pages themselves thanks to the hundreds of blue and white delphinium stems arranged by Poppy Lane Design lining the stairway. The model bride’s exquisite Justin Alexander Signature lace fit-and-flare Tansy gown from Ellis Bridal features a Venice lace off-the-shoulder neckline, complemented by her BHLDN Gala back necklace of light blue stones. Naifeh Fine Jewelry added a bit more modernity to her look with surprise diamond solitaire earrings with gold fringe on the backs juxtaposed against her classic halo-circled oval-cut diamond ring with diamond lined double band – both total wow accessories. Her look was completed with a low tousled bun with a middle part and wispy face framing pieces thanks to Tease to Please Hair and Makeup, while her dewy, luminous skin, amplified by a rose-flushed cheek and lip for a monochromatic look, and bronzer-defined eyes were expertly applied by MLB Artistry. Can you believe this is just one of many stylish and feminine looks from the editorial?!
Congrats to Tammy Odell for capturing her second Brides of Oklahoma cover (see her first here)! Stay tuned for the complete Modern March editorial reveal tomorrow to see more gorgeous gowns from our local bridal boutiques and custom gown designers, a confectionary spread from Sweet Devotion Cakery and the can’t-miss behind the scenes video captured by Transform Visuals. And be sure to pre-order your copy of the SS21 issue to see it in print for yourself. Cheers!
