Laura and Trent’s story began all the way back in middle school! The pair started dating during senior year of high school. Laura was attracted to Trent’s shyness and laidback personality, which got the pair talking. They officially started dating in September of 2008.

Trent proposed to Laura through a fun scavenger hunt around Tulsa that began at his parent’s house. Laura spotted a heart balloon on her car with a note. As soon as Laura saw this, her heart skipped a beat! This note informed her that she had to follow directions and was not allowed to talk to anyone. Each note had a clue of a place that had meaning to their relationship. The final note led her to her parent’s house where Trent had the back yard decorated with flowers. He proposed while all their friends and family were waiting inside to celebrate them!

Laura and Trent’s wedding centered on florals. Hues of maroon, red and blush pink with lots of greenery created a romantic, botanical feel. A light rain fell prior to the ceremony, but soon the sun peaked through the clouds. It was important to the couple to focus their ceremony around Christ. After saying I do and sharing communion, the couple and guests enjoyed the reception that was indoors and outdoors. Outdoor seating was available under a tent glittering with lights. The couple loved working with talented photographer Wendy Bobarikin who has effortlessly become a friend. Dinner fare was available on buffet tables along with a delightful cookie bar. Entertainment included an indoor dance floor, giant Jenga, cornhole, and the Vintage Wagon Photo Booth. Everyone danced for hours and ended the night with sparklers. Looking back, the bride’s first look with Trent and her father sticks out in her mind as two special moments.
