Sara and Lonnie’s big day was full of smiles and enchanting details at the beautiful Rose Briar Place. Feminine florals from New Leaf Florist filled the rustic style venue with pops of red and gold. Sara’s gown from Bella Rose Bridal stole the show and her sweet husband’s heart as he saw her at the altar! Cheers to Sara and Lonnie!

This fairytale took some detours from the dream but ultimately surpassed what could have been. Sara and Lonnie met after drug and alcohol rehabilitation while each was a resident of a sober living home. They became good friends while learning how to embark on a new, gentler way of life. They didn’t realize at the time how far this friendship would take them.
Lonnie proposed to Sara on Christmas Eve 2016. Their individual paths have led them to a future with each other centered on honesty, respect and a love for a life in recovery. They were elated to have one another and immediately began planning an intimate, meaningful ceremony.
Photographer Christie Conyer perfectly captured their wedding, which was a celebration for friends and family who had often wondered if this life would be possible for the pair. Austin Hodges of Moss and Magnolia Salon made an impression on everyone with his expert hair styling and makeup application. The bride and groom’s vows promised honest and fearless love and dedication to the commitments that brought them to their day. It was a spiritual experience shared by those who loved them. Sara and Lonnie know the miracle that has been granted to them. The gratitude and grace experienced in finding a life partner, a true friend and spiritual companion is not lost on this couple.
Lonnie was blessed to have his son, Colton, by his side as his best man. Groomsmen were Tyler Kincannon, Skye Gant and Scott Mitchell. Sara was attended by her sister, Jordan Davidson, and cousins, Jessica Bruner, Rebecca Campbell and Rachel Farve. Sara’s best friend of 20 years, Emily Westerheide, and her son, Liam, the groom’s nieces, Chyler and Kelbi Ashford, and Sara’s niece, Ava Davidson, completed the wedding party.
