Crested Butte Proposal
We met about three and a half years ago and had an IMMEDIATE connection. Love at first sight type of connection! We went on one date and were officially a couple the next week. This last June we went on a family vacation to Crested Butte, Colorado. We spent the first two days hiking, fishing and enjoying the scenery. The third night we were there we had just finished cleaning up for the night when his dad mentions that we need to go pick up a confirmation receipt for the adventure we have planned for the next day. He asked me to go with him and at first I said I wanted to stay and help with dinner (silly me). His family insisted that I go with him! We pull up to a building that has a beautiful view behind it and he suggests that we go look at the view before going inside. We admire the mountains for a few minutes before he nervously gets on one knee and pops the question! His family runs down with champagne and I was COMPLETELY SHOCKED! It was so beautiful and special and he made it such a surprise which was the best part! We are getting married this October.
