Hailey and Tyler were each other’s first coke dates in college at Oklahoma State University. However the two remained just friends throughout college, finally deciding to date after both had entered pharmacy school. On the morning of Hailey’s birthday, everything seemed to be normal as they both laced their sneakers and headed on their morning run around the neighborhood. To Hailey’s surprise, words were chalked all over the path they take: “marathoner,” “tri-athlete,” “Christian,” “#1 coke date.” Hailey said that she jokingly reached over and patted Tyler’s pocket saying, “are you about to propose to me?” Little did Hailey know that is exactly what Tyler had planned. Waiting at the bottom of the hill were the chalked words, “Will you marry me?” Tyler got down on one knee and proposed to Hailey and she said, “Yes!” Hailey and Tyler will be married this August at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. The reception will be held at the Petroleum Club in downtown Oklahoma City. Hailey and Tyler agree that their favorite detail of the wedding is the theme, “A bicycle for two.” This perfectly matches their personalities and they have incorporated it into almost all aspects of the wedding.
