DeShanna and Tyler are proof that love at first sight isn’t always the case! The two went on a movie date when they were in eighth grade, but didn’t immediately hit it off. Although things didn’t work out for the middle school couple, six years later they met again at a friends house and sparks flew!
The two began officially dating, and three years later DeShanna organized a romantic horse drawn carriage ride through a local park to look at Christmas lights. Because she had planned the date herself, she definitely wasn’t expecting a proposal. As the ride was coming to an end, Tyler asked the carriage driver to “keep it steady,” as he got down on one knee and proposed. DeShanna was completely surprised, and of course said, “YES!”
DeShanna and Tyler are currently planning their dream destination wedding. The couple will wed this summer at The Melia Resort in Cozumel, Mexico. Upon their return from the wedding, the couple plans to host a large reception for all of their family and friends. Congratulations to DeShanna and Tyler!
