Met in a coffee shop
Ricky and I met at a local coffee shop about two years ago. He was a barista and I was a regular customer. I thought he was handsome from day one, and after he started remembering my coffee order, I introduced myself. A few weeks later, he asked me on a date and the rest is history! On December 18, 2018, I had a girls night planned with my best friend from college. We planned a photoshoot, dinner, and an escape room and I was so excited! As we pulled up to a Christmas tree farm for our photoshoot, Ricky walked out from the tree line. I knew immediately what was happening! He opened my car door and asked me to go on a walk with him. As we walked through the tree farm, he had different tables set up with pictures from special memories. He told me why he wanted to pursue me in the first place, and why he wanted to continue pursuing me for the rest of our lives. He told me he loved me for the first time, got down on one knee, and asked me to be his wife. With absolute joy, I said YES!
