San Diego Sunset Cliffs Proposal

My fiancé and I met in Tulsa, OK almost seven years ago. We’ve been dating for six of those years and we’ve always joked about how he couldn’t surprise me when he proposed… oh how I was wrong!

I flew out to San Diego to meet up with my two friends – Alyssa and Hana, for a weekend girls trip. They were both in on the surprise! That Saturday, we were on our way to dinner when Hana suggested we stop by San Diego’s beautiful Sunset Cliffs for some pictures. Not aware of the situation, I actually started taking a video of the silhouette of a man about to propose, not knowing it was Max. My jaw dropped when I realized who it was! The walk down to where he was turned out to be somewhat treacherous in four inch heels, so he made the walk up to help me down towards the water where he proposed. We were both so excited he actually put the ring on the wrong hand! Thankfully our photographer caught it quickly. It was the perfect engagement!
