Tasty Tips
What is your signature dish? We did nearly 500 events last year, and no two events are the exact same, so it’s hard to name just one signature dish. We do a fantastic Lemon Thyme Grilled Chicken Breast served with Creamy Garlic Aioli. It’s a crowd pleaser and budget-friendly, so it’s definitely one of our popular items.
What advice do you have for brides who are trying decide between a sit-down vs. buffet-style meal? This decision truly comes down to personal style and how the bride and groom want their guests to experience the event. A sit-down, plated dinner can be sophisticated, elegant and give your guests a real chance to relax and be waited on. On the other hand, a buffet dinner or heavy hors d’ouevres encourages guests to mingle, graze throughout the event and introduce a wider variety of menu selections.
Do you offer menu tastings? Yes. We offer quarterly group tastings where we pull together a broad selection of our most popular items for our booked clients. This gives them a chance to taste our food, see our food displays and chat with our sales team. We do offer private tastings as needed such as times when clients live out of state or a menu is highly customized.
Do you have a set menu or do you offer custom menus? After 18 years in business, we have a great selection of house dishes, and we are always expanding our repertoire. We gladly work with clients to build custom menus, too, and often, those are some of the most exciting times in our kitchen.
What advice do you have to offer brides and grooms? It is your day, but don’t forget about your guests. All of us vendors in the industry have been to more weddings than anyone rightly should. What that means, though, is that if you hear one of us make suggestions based on experience, listen. We never want to take away from our client’s vision, but we are just as invested as they are in pulling off a memorable experience for everyone.
