2016 is coming to a close and we’ve loved every minute of it! As we wrap up another year of sharing the most fabulous Oklahoma weddings and the talented vendors that brought them to life, we couldn’t help but reflect on some of our favorite wedding details found within the pages of the mags. Over the next week, we’ll be looking back at our favorite wedding trends found in the 2016 issues from gorgeous wedding gowns to awe-worthy florals! We’re kicking off the week with a look at our favorite florals. Take a look at these blooming wedding floral trends, and stay tuned each day to see what trends we hope stick around for 2017! Cheers to the new year!
Floral & Greenery Adorned Altars
Embellishing altars with cascading blooms and lush greenery isn’t a new concept, but with an exploding amount of blooms and creativity this season, it’s definitely one we don’t see going out of style any time soon!

Artistic Installations
We love to see our local florist get more and more creative with their designs each year. The floral installation and backdrop pieces are the perfect way to incorporate some visual pieces throughout your wedding decor.

Greenery Swag
Maybe one of the hottest wedding trends in 2016 was the incorporation of greenery swag beyond your traditional altar scene or backdrops. Seating to tablescapes were rocking this earthy and organic look this season, and we can’t wait to see how this trend develops in 2017!

Non-Traditional Bridal Floral
We’ll always love a classic bridal bouquet, but we can’t help but swoon over the latest florals we’ve seen brides and bridesmaids carrying (or wearing!) this year. Wristlets, dress swag and even floral garlands have been making appearances at the altar.
