Perfect Homestead Affair

While browsing the online wedding galleries of Oklahoma wedding planner Cathy Johnson, we found a wedding we had to share — only to discover we’d found the wedding of a celebrity from Oklahoma!  The bride, Daphne Bloomer, is an Oklahoma native who moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. She currently plays Eugenia Williams on Days of Our Lives and has had appearances on 24 and Crossing Jordan — way to go Daphne! Back in Oklahoma for her big day, the bride desired a relaxed, comfortable feel. She and her wedding planner, Cathy Johnson, started their grand design ideas with a single green apple. From that apple, grew ideas for the fun and laid-back atmosphere Daphne had dreamed of! Her cute, three-tiered cake was a creation from Amy Cakes. We also had to share the picnic basket cake, candy buffet and tiers of cupcakes — guests definitely weren’t lacking in the sweets department! Every detail made this the perfect homestead affair!
