Roam: A Wildly Romantic Wedding Gown Shoot

We are thrilled to finally start sharing more prettiness from the new 10th Anniversary issue! We’re kicking things off with the largest fashion shoot in the mag, our gown editorial featuring looks from Oklahoma’s best bridal boutiques. This shoot was an absolute dream come true! Dozens of ideas were presented as we sat around the conference room table dreaming about what we wanted to see in our gown shoot for the 10th Anniversary Issue. Being such a special and celebratory issue, we knew we wanted to push the envelope and do something we had never done before. This wildly romantic concept took us across the great state to remote salt flats that looked like something from another world. It was hard to believe that we were in Oklahoma and not on the white sandy beaches of some far off destination. The day could not have been more perfect and with Oklahoma weather, that’s somewhat of a miracle. With a pop up tent and a team of talented Oklahoma wedding vendors, we spent sun up to nearly sun down capturing the most beautiful collection of wedding gowns. We enlisted the help of Sarah Libby Photography whose talent we’ve long admired to capture the shoot. As you can see, she completely knocked it out of the park! We knew the incredibly talented Pen Weddings would be the perfect pick to document the day and we could not be more obsessed with the incredible footage this talented duo captured. Chelsey and Ali from Chelsey Ann Artistry killed it with hair and makeup; every look was perfectly executed with their own unique touches. Shimmering engagement rings from BC Clark Jewelers completed each bridal look. Emerson Events took our vision and used it to create the most stunning bouquets, floral adornments and an incredible lounge setting with pieces from Plenty Mercantile.
