As we continue with our Vows that Wow exclusive coverage of weddings hand-selected by our team of editors to grace the pages of Brides of Oklahoma magazine, we couldn’t wait to share this beautiful ranch wedding of Reagan and Brandon in Cooksen, Oklahoma. Cooksen is located in eastern Oklahoma and this Oklahoma bride knew from the moment she got engaged that she wanted to say “I Do” on her family’s ranch where she was raised and eventually got engaged. The bride and her family planned such a heartfelt and beautiful wedding. We love all of the little touches of this homespun affair, like the couple’s chosen wedding motif, a crown, to symbolize the groom and soon-to-be bride’s last name – King! Such beautiful stationery from Occasions in Norman! The tabletops were adorned with beautiful florals and family mementos, including vintage books, tea cups, pictures, etc. Come rain or shine, the bride was adamant about her desire to have an outdoor ceremony. We love the old pew benches her family spent endless time refurbishing for guest seating and the African violets from her grandmother’s kitchen window that were wrapped up pretty and given with love as wedding favors. A gospel choir sang “Oh Happy Day” as this adorable duo became one! The amazing florals were designed by the fabulous team of The French Bouquet. The bride is so naturally beautiful, which was only enhanced by Oklahoma wedding hair and make-up stylist, Faccia Bella. Oklahoma wedding photographer Josh McCullock captured every amazing detail. Cheers!
