The Wedding Day

Abby & David’s wedding day was the ultimate fancy fête—a vibrant summer celebration filled with bold colors, elegant details, and unforgettable moments. Their vision of a colorful yet timeless affair came to life beautifully, creating a chic and joyful atmosphere.

The ceremony was deeply personal. Abby & David exchanged vows in the same church where Abby’s parents were married, a place her grandfather pastored for 33 years. Though retired, he read the pronouncement and signed their marriage license. This moment honored their family legacy in the most meaningful way.

To make the transition from ceremony to reception even more memorable, the wedding party hopped aboard a charming trolley from Old Urban Trolley. The ride kept the celebration seamless while adding a whimsical, old-world charm that delighted guests.

Once at the reception, guests were welcomed by a lively palette of décor and rentals from Marianne’s Rentals and luxe linens from BBJ La Tavola. The vibrant pops of color struck the perfect balance of sophistication and fun, setting the stage for an elegant yet energetic celebration.

One of the sweetest personal touches from the day came was the paper details. The gorgeous invitations by MagPie, paired with charming custom illustrations by Alexa’s Illustrations, added a personal and artful touch to Abby & David’s day. Featuring bright colors and venue sketches, this thoughtful design detail perfectly reflected their story.

The Bridal Look

Abby looked radiant in her gown from La Mariée Boutique. The sleek design featured a structured bodice, a full skirt with dramatic volume, and a statement bow detail in the back. Paired with a classic veil, the look was timeless and elegant. The clean lines of the gown perfectly matched the chic aesthetic of the day, while still letting Abby’s personality and joy shine through.

Capturing the Memories

Photography and videography played a huge role in preserving the beauty and joy of of the day. Rachelle Lynn.co delivered timeless portraits that highlighted the romance of the celebration, while lively flash photography during the reception brought every candid dance floor moment to life.

To complement the photos, John Bunn Films + Photo created postcard-worthy video moments that allow Abby & David to relive their celebration.
