Celebrating the 15th Anniversary Issue of Brides of Oklahoma!

15 years… what a milestone?! We can still remember those first few years in the Oklahoma wedding industry so vividly. We were immediately blown away by not only the incredible talent each and every local wedding vendor had, but the sheer desire to collaborate with each other and push the creative boundaries of our wedding community. Fast forward, and now our team is unveiling the shiny new 15th anniversary issue, and to say our hearts are full is such an understatement. This has been 15 years of building relationships, watching trends be made and celebrating with all the local couples getting engaged and married. Cue all the happy tears!

Who better to land the 15th anniversary cover than long-time Oklahoma wedding photographer and brand partner, Amanda Watson Photography. Amanda captured the Spring/Summer 2022 fashion editorial, Botanica, at Esperanza Ranch, and we were blown away by her film photography showcasing seven wildly romantic gowns from our local bridal boutiques. While each gown could have easily been our cover dress, this plunge-neck, 3D floral appliqué and pearl embellished Berta gown from Bella Rose Bridal – Edmond perfectly captured the vibe of this celebratory issue. The bride’s hair was softly pinned at the sides with face-framing strands by Profile Beauty Nook, and Carolyn Gallagher, Carolyn F. Beauty focused on the bride’s complexion, layering sheer tint on the skin along with a custom blush mix in peaches, pinks and neutrals with a gloss highlight on the cheekbones, rich brown eyeshadow and a clear balm on the lips. The look was accessorized with an oval diamond engagement ring from Naifeh Fine Jewelry, gold twist single pearl drop earrings from Anthropologie and a bouquet of lilac stock arranged by XO by Haleigh Kenney.
