From wedding stylist, Lauryn Lamb Events: “Creating a design for your wedding day is one of the most fun (and yet, most stressful) aspects of planning; this is why we look to other vendors and couple’s events to gain inspiration. Trends can be incredibly helpful especially when it comes to picking in-season flowers, finding color palettes and pairing styles together to create a one-of-a-kind look. I always start the planning process by creating a mood board with trends that I like as well as other ideas, flowers, accents and colors that I would like to incorporate. This really helps aid vendors in the design process so that they have a more definite idea of our end goal. The most important part of planning, however, is to stay true to what you and your partner like and make your wedding as authentic and true to your relationship as possible. Use trends as a guide and way to brainstorm ideas!”
