An Okla-home-a Proposal

Omar and I met on a dating website almost 6 years ago. When we met, we talked online for a few days and ultimately decided we must meet in person before I left town to go back home to Mississippi for a holiday weekend. I had Omar meet me at the park by my first apt in OKC, and we walked and talked for HOURS. Shared our life goals, laughs, and our first kiss that night at the park. 5 1/2 years later, Omar brought me back to that very same park, got down on one knee, and asked me to be his bride. I’m so proud of the life we’ve built in Oklahoma City and two souls from opposite sides of the country (Mississippi and California) became one in the heart of Oklahoma.
