Downtown OKC Surprise Proposal

It was March 10, 2022. The Oklahoma wind was thick, crisp, and in lieu of a blizzard according to the forecast. Keenan booked a downtown Oklahoma City weekend stay for us to relax and have a fun stress free weekend considering that we are both college students. He told me to pack a nice outfit because were going out to a nice dinner so I packed my favorite black dress and my highest pumps. Later that evening, we arrive at the hotel and check in. We got dressed for dinner and make our way to Mahogany, meanwhile, Keenan had hired an events company to decorate our hotel room with a message that said “Will you Marry Me”? There were candles, rose petals, balloons, lights, etc. I opened the door to our hotel that night and I burst into tears. I immediately froze and was so happy and stunned by the presentation. I turn around to Keenan on one knee with the most gorgeous pear-shaped rock I have ever seen. I screamed yes and we have celebrated every day since then. March 10th was easily the best day of my life.
