Luxe Love: a Black Tie Affair from Modern Love Photography

Quite possibly the most highly anticipated section of the mag, our annual gown shoot never fails to impress. This year is no exception! Don’t get us wrong – we’re obsessed with every square inch of our gorgeous new pages, but this labor of love is the largest fashion shoot in the entire issue. Each year our team gathers around the conference room table dreaming about our upcoming gown shoot, and this year we envisioned a black tie affair editorial featuring the most stylish gowns and menswear. Festivities Event Center in El Reno proved the perfect backdrop for our vision with the help of Marianne’s Rentals, boasting tons of natural light and clean, white walls that we just can’t get enough of.

Featuring flawless glam from Brushed Salon and Makeup Studio, dazzling gems from BC Clark Jewelers, stunning over-the-top floral installations from Poppy’s Garden and the talented eye of Modern Love Photography, this shoot is sure to satisfy any bride’s style! From venue, Festivities at the Old Post Office: “Jump back in time and soak in the historic charm of Festivities Event Center. Located just 25 minutes west of Oklahoma City, the newly renovated venue was once a bustling post office. The two-story, Georgian-style building has undergone many transformations over the years until finding its place as a breathtaking wedding venue. The open event space boasts hardwood floors, 10-foot windows, 16-foot ceilings, marble walls and tile floors. The outdoor courtyard features three fountains, a large deck and cobblestone area for comfortable seating. Wow guests with this one-of-a-kind historic venue!”
