This Modern Tropics Wedding Brought all the Color

Lush, green velvet, bright florals in red and pink and hints of tropical flair make up this perfectly poised editorial from Nicole Allen Events. Posh Palm Springs vibes inspired the jewel toned hues, mod detailing and choice of venue for the event – the beautiful Tulsa Club Hotel. The modern tropics scene would have been impossible without the set-up from Party Pro Rents – a sleek bar, Art Deco shelving, mod lounge seating and luxe table setting created a seriously cool vibe. Each floral arrangement from The Flower Shop Pryor brought serious cool-girl personality to the shoot. Paired with a one-of-a-kind invitation suite in metallic gold, bold menus, whimsical escort cards and personalized cocktail floaters – all by the ever-talented Laurel & Marie – this Art Deco party just became Gatsby-approved. Did you catch the sweet welcome baskets?! Acrylic boxes were filled to the brim with must-have tropical swag like a pink flamingo koozie float and heart-shaped sunnies. All Things Cake created a towering masterpiece featuring brushed gold and unique garland that we will not soon forget! The model bride’s look was sleek and modern thanks to the perfect gown from Ellis Bridal. Hair from Rachael Mccoy and makeup from Taylor Beal with Muse Beauty Bar added festive flair with a braided up-do. Katie Hadley Photography didn’t leave out a single detail, capturing each moment in full color. From the planners, Nicole Allen and Maddie Biram, of Nicole Allen Events: “We wanted to do something out of the box and different from what our brides typically want. One of our favorite places is Palm Springs, so we thought why not make it a Palm Springs inspired wedding? Our vision was very mid-century modern with pops of jewel tone colors, and the Tulsa Club Hotel was definitely the perfect venue for our backdrop. We love the art deco architecture and the gold, black and green the hotel carries throughout. We mixed in all of these elements with a fun, playful Palm Springs vibe, especially in the stationery pieces, which made the whole shoot come together perfectly, thanks to all of our amazing vendors.”
