Christmas Card Pictures
The morning of October 24th, I woke up so excited! Russell and I were finally doing “Christmas card pictures” with our dog Ryder – little did I know what Russell and my friends had planned. We were meeting one of my best friends, and amazing photographer, Ashley to take a few pictures. About 15 minutes in, Russell took Ryder to the car. I was super confused, but it was pretty normal of us to get pictures of just us two. He came back, and we took a few more pictures when Ashley asked him to get behind me, run and pick me up. She did a “practice round,” and I heard Russell tell me to turn around. He was down on one knee, and I truthfully was in such shock I don’t remember a word he said. I was crying and just beyond excited that I would get to spend forever with him. After pictures, he surprised me with an engagement party that included all of my closest friends and our family. It was the most magical day!
