With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we’re so excited to announce the finalists of Wed Society Oklahoma’s annual Looks of Love contest! There’s truly nothing more heartwarming than reading a love story and seeing beautiful photos that capture the special bond between two people. Over the past two weeks, our team has read and admired the many amazing love stories shared to us and have selected the top 8 couples to enter our Instagram voting competition kicking off on Wednesday, February 11th! Get a jumpstart on reading the incredible love stories of these 8 couples and tune in each day to @wedsociety.oklahoma to vote for your favorite couples and love story. The winner will be announced on Saturday, February 14th and and will receive a one-night stay in The Skirvin‘s Governor’s Suite (valued at $1,500!) plus a $200 gift card to a restaurant of their choice on us!

Amaya & Kyron
A couple of weeks before their freshman year of college, Kyron connected with Amaya on the school’s incoming freshman page. The two then ran into each other on move in day, and completely hit it off. They’ve been inseparable ever since, and faith played a big part in their relationship. When looking for clarity about marriage, Amaya prayed for a sign of white roses. Then, once when Kyron picked her up at the airport after a trip, he pulled out a bouquet of white roses. A couple months later, they got engaged and have been planning their May 2026 wedding at The Bower ever since!

Teighlor & Naresh
Teighlor & Naresh met in dental school during Teighlor’s final semester, when a casual drink turned into a connection that made them inseparable from the very first night. They supported each other through a year of long distance between Tulsa and Oklahoma City, until Naresh graduated and joined Teighlor in Tulsa, where they now share a home filled with love, two dogs, and their cat. A trip to Costa Rica for Naresh’s 30th birthday became unforgettable when, overlooking the mountains and ocean, Teighlor turned around to find Naresh on one knee, completely catching her by surprise. Now they’re looking forward to our wedding on May 23rd in Santa Fe, a destination they cherish and dream of one day calling home.

Brooklyn & Zach
Zach and Brooklyn first connected in April 2020 when she agreed to model with him for a photoshoot for his family’s business, and sparks flew during the session. They spent that summer completely inseparable, and on September 26, 2020, Zach asked her to be his girlfriend. Over the next five years, they nurtured their relationship and grew together, leading to Zach proposing in July 2025 in Paris, where they spent ten unforgettable days exploring Europe. They now look forward to turning their dating anniversary, September 26, into their wedding anniversary in 2026, grateful for the journey that brought them together.

Katie & Will
Katie & Will first met when they were just five years old when they played on the same co-ed youth soccer team. They later reconnected in high school, and what started as a friendship soon grew into a love that felt both familiar and meant to be. They dated long distance in college – Katie attended Baylor University and Will attended Oklahoma State University. Katie eventually followed her heart to Stillwater so they could finish college side by side. On July 10, 2025, Will proposed in Grayton, Florida, a place filled with lifelong memories for him and one they’re excited to someday share with their future family.

Sylvester & Taylor
Taylor and Sylvester first met in church school during high school, long before realizing they were meant to be life partners. Reconnected by friends and family, their first date happened just before Taylor moved to Las Vegas to start her dental career, and what began with boba and ramen quickly turned into city adventures and an effortless connection. They navigated long distance with FaceTime dates and trips together, creating memories from swimming with manta rays in Hawaii to paragliding in Switzerland. In September 2025, Sylvester proposed overlooking Lake Como, and now they’re excited for their fall 2027 wedding and the next chapter of their adventure together.

Gracie & Brock
Though both Oklahoma natives—Gracie from Norman and Brock from Mustang—their paths didn’t cross until the summer of 2023. What started as time with friends quickly became one-on-one dates, including a memorable dinner where Brock cooked his mom’s famous chili, and they were inseparable after that. They love playing cards, discovering new movies, cheering on OU football, and making memories with friends and family. On June 28, 2025, Brock proposed on OU’s South Oval, and now they joyfully look forward to marriage, building a life together centered on faith, love, and joy.

Makenzie & William
William and Makenzie’s story began during their junior year of high school when Makenzie found herself welcomed into a new friend’s circle—where she first met William. Their connection was immediate. More than six years ago, William asked Makenzie on their first date, and they have been inseparable ever since. Growing up side by side, they shared four proms, graduated together, navigated college and long distance, and through every season, one thing remained constant: their unwavering love and dedication to one another. This past summer, William asked Makenzie to be his forever, proposing on a bed of roses along a sun-soaked beach in Florida while celebrating with their closest friends.
