Week after week, our team has the joy of receiving and sharing stunning weddings from across Oklahoma, all thanks to the incredibly talented vendors and wonderful couples who submit their celebrations to us. Each month, our editorial team selects one standout wedding to spotlight — a day that truly shines for its creativity, personality, and unforgettable details.

This month, we’re thrilled to feature Sarah & Hunt’s Elevated Wedding at Philbrook Museum of Art. The couple celebrated in Tulsa on November 1st, and their celebration was nothing short of a wow from start to finish.

THE WEDDING DAY

Set against the historic beauty of the Philbrook Museum of Art, this wedding was a stunning blend of timeless elegance, personal touches, and thoughtfully curated design. From the architecture to the smallest details, every moment of the day felt intentional and refined.

Design played a major role throughout the day, with a chic black-and-white palette woven into the décor and rentals by Marianne’s Rentals and MagPie. The clean, elevated aesthetic paired beautifully with the venue’s historic charm, creating a look that felt both sophisticated and inviting.

Guests were welcomed into a beautifully curated cocktail hour, where Justin Thompson’s Restaurants & Catering provided passed appetizers and elevated sips, including French 75s and truffled deviled eggs topped with caviar. The experience set the tone for a luxurious and thoughtfully designed evening.

One of the most personal touches came from the bride, who is the Vice President at Olipop. Naturally, cans of Olipop were incorporated into the day-of details, adding a fun and meaningful nod to her career in a way that felt both stylish and authentic.

The bride made a statement in a stunning strapless gown from La Mariée Boutique, paired with a long, elegant veil that added a touch of timeless romance. Her look was classic, refined, and effortlessly elegant, perfectly complementing the overall tone of the day.

As the evening continued, Box Talent provided entertainment that kept the energy high and the celebration lively from start to finish. Guests danced the night away, enjoying every moment of the soirée!

To end the night on a sweet note, the couple included a rich chocolate groom’s cake from Merritt’s Bakery, adding a classic and indulgent touch to the dessert offerings.

Throughout it all, John Bunn Films + Photo captured a beautiful mix of candid and composed moments, preserving both the emotion and artistry of the day. From quiet in-between moments to the joy-filled celebration, every detail came together to create a wedding that felt both meaningful and unforgettable.

ON OUR DAY…

“Our wedding day was inspired by the legacy of Waite Phillips, and it felt especially meaningful to celebrate at the Philbrook Museum, his former home, surrounded by the art, architecture, and gardens he designed.” – Sarah & Hunt
