Ethan and I met in the least romantic and most 21st century way possible, on a dating app. However, our relationship turned out to be the most romantic, and we knew we wanted to be together forever after only a few dates. When he finally proposed about a year after meeting, I was ecstatic. He had filled his living room with candles and lit a fire as it was a cold December day. Both our dogs were there, and he had obviously not thought it through because the whole time he was proposing, I was worried a dog would knock a candle over and set us all on fire. We made it through though, fire free and it’s made for a funny story. He is the absolute love of my life and I can’t wait to marry him in July.
