Lucy and David said, “I do” with a light blue and cream winter wedding at Coles Garden Wedding and Event Center. The couple met once while in high school but didn’t connect until after college. David’s best friend got Lucy’s number for him but forgot to give it to him. Lucy decided to take matters into her own hands and Facebook message David, and the couple has been together ever since. David proposed to Lucy with a beautiful ring from BC Clark Jewelers at the Oklahoma City Botanical Gardens, where they went on their first date. How sweet and romantic! When it came time to start planning their dream wedding, Lucy remembered just to enjoy the process. Important piece of advice for all brides, remember to enjoy each moment of the process. Their light blue and ivory winter wedding is so elegant and dreamy. The light blue detailing with ivory winter florals from Poppy Lane Design and gold decor accents from Marianne’s Rentals is classy and timeless. In addition, Lucy looked classy and stunning in her dress from The Bridal Boutique with a deep beaded back. We love a statement back! The newlyweds partied with family and friends as everyone celebrated their love before the couple made a bubbly exit as the new Mr. and Mrs. Kim. However, the party didn’t stop here; the couple and guests continued the party at the bars downtown. So fun!! From the bride: “The venue, Coles Garden Wedding and Event Center, was beautifully decorated with whites and greens. The weather was a little gloomy and rainy in the morning but fortunately got better as the day went on. We had a relatively short ceremony and a long reception where our DJ kept the party going all night!”
