Alex Drummond Wedding | An Elegant Tented Garden Party on the Drummond Ranch

Whimsical, romantic, elegant and full of family flair – all elements to combine into the perfect recipe for Alex Drummond-Scott’s, the Pioneer Woman’s daughter, dream of a wedding day! Composed of darling pastel hues and bountiful blooms in coordinating shades, this outdoor scene nestled on a part of Drummond Ranch brought the party to the prairie for a spring evening tented soiree of a lifetime. Our eyes and hearts were completely captivated, not only by every incredible detail of this day, but the college sweethearts themselves, Alex and Mauricio! After meeting at a her sorority’s date party freshman year of college, the two became good friends for a year before they started dating. Now, in their whimsical stylized affair, the two celebrated their love in the grandest way, and I don’t think we’ll ever have enough of it!

It only took us one look to be completely captivated by the abundant soft-toned pink, blue and purple florals that adorned every aspect of this scene – from lining the aisle to the altar that overlooked the ranch, to the perfectly placed tabletops, to almost every inch of space encapsulated under the billowy sail tent from Party Pro Rents – The Fleuriste truly outdid themselves with this masterpiece of eclectic florals that pop so well against the lush natural landscape. Hanging greenery and wispy wisteria blew in the gentle Oklahoma breeze all night as guests partied the night away and ate scrumptious slices of cake from Amy Cakes. The six-tier showstopper of a cake, adorned with more of those iconic florals and hand-made edible lace to duplicate the lace featured on Alex’s bridal gown, filled with strawberry and white layers was just the cherry on top of it all! When looking back at all of her vendors, Alex says that “we had the most amazing team of talented people, and we are so grateful.” She adored every single one of them, from her florist, entertainment, photographer and team of hair and makeup artists consisting of MLB Artistry for the ultimate bridal glam!
