There is so much love in this romantic and elegant Tulsa engagement captured by Andi Bravo Photography! Amy and Jake originally had their engagement session at Turner Falls but added a second session to include the city where they first fell in love! Downtown Tulsa made the perfect urban backdrop for these lovebirds posing in elegant attire (and Amy glammed up by MLB Artistry) ahead of their big day. Amy works as a local newscast and one day, Jake recognized her in person and knew he just had to say something! Two years of dating later and Jake proposed on Christmas Day of 2019 in Amy’s hometown of Pennsylvania, with her mom, dad, and sister around for a truly magical moment. For their June wedding at The Springs Venue in Sperry, the couple said they were most excited for the talented local wedding vendors responsible for creating the day. “We are working with a lot of really amazing and talented vendors who are helping bring our dream wedding vision to life,” Amy said. “I am also super excited that they’ve been so accepting of my crazy ideas!” Her wedding day dream team is made up of floral design by The Flower Shop Pryor, coordination from Poppy + Prim, live sketches and custom signage by Amy Lee Illustrations, along with so many more darling details all to be captured on photo and video by Andi Bravo Photography to relive for years to come. We can’t wait to see it all play out just as flawlessly as their elegant Tulsa engagement session down below. Read on for a note from the soon-to-be bride about the wedding details she’s most excited for and what she learned from the planning process. Cheers to the future Mr. and Mrs. Avery!
From the bride: “I never realized how fun wedding planning could be! Everyone talks about the stress of it all, and yes – it definitely can be stressful, but it can also be a beautiful way to incorporate each other’s personalities into even the smallest details… One of the vendors I’m working with, Callie Schmidt from The Flower Shop Pryor, is creating a beautiful balloon and flower arrangement to cover the staircase banisters for our grand entrance into the reception venue… I also had no idea what a wedding illustrator was until I met Amy from ‘Amy Lee Illustrations‘ at a wedding show. I fell in love with her talent and she was one of my first vendor hires. She is doing illustrations for our guests at our wedding and also made us a ‘signature drinks’ sign where we named the drinks after our dogs… She put so much heart into it and I can’t wait to see what our guests think!”
