We chatted with owners Tyler and Brian to see what OKC Brew Tours is all about and why you should consider them for your bachelorette party or other pre-wedding get-togethers. What is OKC Brew Tours?

OKC Brew Tours is a tour company specializing in fun, unforgettable brewery tours. Oklahoma City is home to a fast-growing craft beer scene, and we want everyone to taste the best new beers that our local brewers are serving up. Our mission is to provide the highest-quality experience of sampling fresh, locally made, handcrafted beer, while also educating guests about the ingredients in beer and the brewing process.

How many and which breweries do you visit on a tour?

Each tour has the opportunity to visit three different breweries. The breweries that we visit depends on the day of the tour and the availability of the breweries. We like to spread the love to as many breweries as possible though and try to make the experience different for our riders each time. The breweries we frequent are Angry Scotsman, Anthem, Twisted Spike, Vanessa House, Prairie Artisan Ales, Elk Valley, Stonecloud, and Roughtail Brewing Co. And we will likely be adding a few more in the near future with multiple new breweries coming soon.

What is unique about OKC Brew Tours?

OKC Brew Tours is currently the only tour service in Oklahoma City that specializes in brewery tours. The company was started by two friends with a desire to spread their love of craft beer with Oklahoma City. While co-owners Tyler Miller and Brian Spomer both work full-time jobs, they work hard after hours to make OKC Brew Tours a fun and educational experience for anyone who steps foot on the bus. On OKC Brew Tours you are not only given the opportunity to sample and taste a selection of different local craft beers, but you are also given a behind-the-scenes tour at one of the breweries on the process of how each beer is made. In addition, the OKC Brew Tour guides are well-educated beer lovers themselves and provide history about each brewery and the beers.

What types of groups typically do tours?

OKC Brew Tours welcomes groups of all kinds from bachelor and bachelorette parties to birthday parties, company outings or just groups of friends who are wanting something fun and different to do together. Customers must be 21 years of age to come on our tours, but we have had people from their 20’s to their 70’s on our tour, and range from Oklahoma City locals to people visiting all the way from Germany and Australia. OKC Brew Tours really is an activity that people all of sorts can come and enjoy. Whether it is a private tour with all of your best friends or a public tour where strangers become friends, we are always going to do our best to show you a good time.
