Sam and Jordan shared an attraction for one another when they first met through mutual friends in the spring of 2010. Although Jordan gave Sam his phone number, she was too hesitant to call. As fate would have it, they met again at a Christmas party that year. They have talked almost every day since.

On July 7, 2014, Jordan proposed to Sam at the top of the Key West Lighthouse amongst close friends and family. A ruse crafted by Jordan led the couple to the lighthouse where they braved the steep steps. When they reached the top, there were flowers, champagne, breathtaking views of Key West and a photographer to document the memories. Sam excitedly accepted the romantic proposal. Soon after, they spotted their family and friends making their way into the lighthouse yard to celebrate.

The couple worked with Robyn Martin from The Wedding Belle to bring their day to life. Although rain plagued the days prior to the wedding, the vendors worked around the clock to ensure the ceremony could proceed outside. Their wedding day was bursting with love as they were surrounded by nearly 300 guests, most of whom Sam or Jordan had known since childhood. Following the nuptials, guests were able to indulge in the signature drink, a house- made strawberry margarita, coined The Piper after the couple’s beloved dog. Sam surprised Jordan with a groom’s cake by Mishelle Handy Cakes that commemorated his favorite Chinese restaurant. The chilly evening made it a perfect night for those who wanted to relax and smoke cigars around the fire pit. Following the last dance, the couple surprised guests with mini pizzas. The couple was then whisked away in a vintage Rolls-Royce to The Colcord Hotel and then off to Hawaii for a two-week honeymoon!
