Classic Gaillardia Wedding from Leslie Herring Events | Amanda + Brad

Amanda and Brad first met with a large group of mutual friends at a Toby Keith concert in Atlanta. Amanda was smitten by Brad’s southern charm and the rest is history. When Brad asked Amanda to spend a lifetime with him, he surprised her with a photo album full of their favorite memories. He included everything from first meeting at the Toby Keith concert to vacations, trips home, and all of their adventures throughout Atlanta. The photo album was tied together with a special note that said it was only just the beginning. Brad then got down on one knee and Amanda, of course, said yes.

Amanda and Brad’s wedding day arrived on October 24, 2015, at the charming Gaillardia Country Club. Inspired by her gold wedding ring and love for gold, their wedding was filled with gorgeous gold and ivory hues to make for the perfect classic chic wedding. Gold became the inspiration for decorations, invitations and the immaculate wedding cake. Gold leaves were incorporated into the day as a nod to fall, which was Amanda’s favorite addition. The classic wedding was overflowing with grand floral arrangements of white hydrangeas, greenery, and mixes of white and ivory flowers.

Amanda’s striking blush wedding dress was the perfect combination of an A-line gown and ball gown, which had beautiful layers of lace and tulle. For her “something borrowed” and “something blue,” Amanda incorporated special jewelry pieces from her mother and great-aunt.

The couple’s special day was magical and filled with so much love and excitement. After their magnificent evening, the newlyweds departed for their honeymoon in tropical Moorea, Tahiti, and returned to their home in Atlanta.
