Classic Oklahoma Wedding Captured by Aubrey Marie Photography | Jessica + Collin

Jessica and Collin found each other early in life during their senior year at Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School. They first crossed paths when they were paired together in class to create a Christian Marriage Project. The couple was “married” in high school, and after four years of dating they decided to make it official on November 14, 2015.

Jess and Collin dated long distance while she attended Oklahoma State University and he attended the University of Oklahoma. After many bedlam games, lots of miles driven and many adventures traveling the world together, the couple decided that this was forever.

Collin had the proposal planned for weeks! The couple traveled to Devil’s Den State Park in Arkansas for a weekend of camping. Little did they know that this would be the night of the first freeze! After the coldest night of their lives, Jess and Collin went hiking. Collin got down on his knee at the top of the Yellow Rock Trail and asked her Jessica to marry him. The view was almost as beautiful as the relationship the young couple had built over the past few years.

The wedding took place in the Oklahoma State Capitol Rotunda. The Capitol was a fitting place because Jessica’s father is the capitol architect for the State of Oklahoma. Jessica looked stunning in an Allure gown with her sister and best friends by her side wearing gorgeous gold gowns. Collin, his brothers and best friend looked dapper in classic tuxedos. Former Speaker of the House Kris Steele married the lovebirds surrounded by friends and family. The reception followed at the Skirvin Hilton where their love was celebrated.

The happy newlyweds honeymooned in romantic Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
